Why do girls like wearing clothes that belong to guys?

OK, so over the last month and a half I have had 2 hoodies and 2 jackets taken by 3 different girls. They always find their way back to me and I'm not complaining.

I'm just curious why girls enjoy wearing things like hoodies and stuff that belong to guys?

Oh and if it matters, none of them had names or anything on them so its not like anyone but them would know they were mine.

1. Cos they're soo comfy! I've got two older brother and I constantly steal T-shirts from them. We have to wear so many uncomfy clothes, just to be "fashionable" (honestly, try wlaking around 12 hours a day in a high waist belt) so it's really nice wearing something soft and big.

2. It usually smells nice and reminds you of that person. I kept my dad's favorite hoodie and still wear it when I'm cold;)

3. It could be also from purely practical purposes, e.g. girl is cold:P

Maybe it sounds stupid, it's just one of many girls-guys mysteries of this world;)

Try not explain it, just enjoy the attention:D

also, I might add that I personally would not wear a hoodie, or hat or any piece of clothing that belonged to a guy, which I wasn't at least mildly interested in.

So its highly possible that these girls find you attractive. I mean, unless you're like the bestest friends foreva haha

but yeah... hottness. they usually smell amazing, and its kinda a way of showing off to the world that you're getting attention from males. I dunno. kinda stupid sounding when I say it like that, but yeah haha

But ya I think they smelled better when I got them back lol I don't know what she did to it but when I got one back a few days after loaning it it was pretty much perfume-logged. Weighed like twice as much as normal. Again, no complaints just...interesting

Hahaha if it was that strong, she might have sprayed it a ton on purpose so you'd remember how she smells or something hahaha.

Haha, if I remember correctly I think she wrote it off as a "perfume war" between her and one of her friends. Certainly made my room smell nice for a few days till laundry was done...

I did the same thing, sort of, with my last boyfriend. He offered to let me wear his hoodie because it was cold and I kept wearing it after that. It felt like a mark that we belonged together. Remember in the old T.V. shows where a jock would give his girl his letterman jacket? Well that is what we remember too. We like having something on us, that is clearly not ours, to show everyone that we are in a relationship and it is not a fling. Even if they didn't have a name on them, to show that it was yours specifically, most girls do not wear hoodies, so it is like showing everyone that we have a guy interested in us.

Maybe in caveman times, it was pelts of fur, but in modern times, we have hoodies.

This was mentioned by angel1990 because it's so true; they're comfortable. I have worn and kept clothes from past bfs. I even wore their jeans. Besides that when I wear his shirt, it smells like him and I feel closer to him.

They're just more comfortable. I could live in other guys clothing, especially hoodies. It feels better to wear someone elses hoodie. They're bigger too which is better + they usually smell gorge!
