My girlfriend wants to move to another country?

To start off, I'm a guy, I accidentally chose the wrong gender on the phone when I became a member.

I have an amazing relationship with an amazing and beautiful girl. I was her first and her first real boyfriend. She's the one, no doubt, and she has told me she can't imagine a life without me.

On our first date she mentioned an education in England that she was interested in, I was disappointed when I heard it because it's a whole other country, but soon forgot about it because that's what you do when you're around her.

I've seen her look at the school's internetpage lately and I asked if she was going to move and she said "nah, I have a very good reason to stay". But a week later she asked me "do you believe in long distance relationships?" and now during the weekend I saw that she had the internetpage open on her laptop again and when I said "You really want to go to that school huh?" she went up from the bed and closed her laptop that was sitting on her desk and just said I had awesome eyesight if I could read that text from across the room. I told her that I don't want to lose her and she said that I won't, but I still don't know.

What does it all mean? What is going through her head and what should I do?

That's tough. I was in the same position as her, I wanted to study abroad in England and perhaps stay there permanently. But I met my boyfriend before I was able to and I decided on forgetting those plans, and staying permanently for him.

Sometimes I still regret not having gone and I'm scared I will regret it forever. You need to talk to her and ask her what she really wants, if she wants to go or not and if she would regret staying where you guys are at. And then figure out if you would be willing to go with her if in fact she felt it was what she had to do.

If she wants to go there, and continues to want to, then it could cause problems later on. Just have a talk and tell her what you're feeling. Maybe she does want to stay, or maybe she wants to go and you could either go with her or have a long distance relationship. They work well for some people and not so well for others. It just depends on your relationship.

I hate to tell you this but the relationship is over unless you are willing to leave with her. The fact that she's attempting to keep it a secret means her desire is strong. She asks you questions about long distance relationships because she not ready to end the relationship yet.

You should consider looking into how you could go there with her. Either way (if you go with her or not) this will be a real test of your relationship, it will NOT be easy.

I'm scared to say that I probably can't manage without her. When I said that if she'd move I would come with her she said "no". I don't know if it means that she doesn't want me to come or that she doesn't want to be the reason to leave everything behind. Knowing her it could very well be the latter but I'm not sure.

Why not work on going with her?

I told her that if she ever moved I would try to come with her and all she said was "no". It might be because I'm getting a promotion soon at work, that I'm a singer in a band and we are about to get signed or that my family lives here. Or maybe this is something she wants to do by herself. I don't know..
