Is it normal if I don't feel like answering his text messages anymore? (For days) ?

We are best friends. He told me his in love with me. I'm secretly in live with him to, but we are not a couple yet. ( I want to take it slow). We live apart from each other since 6 months. ( I had to travel to college ). Since then we basically text each other every day and we are always happy texting each other. ( for some reasons we may skip a day or two but thats rare)

What is happening now is totally different. He texted me as he usually do, and I didn't even feel the need to answer or excitment to talk to him... It last for 2 days now. And that happened so suddenly. Usually, even if I dont feel like talking, he's always an exception. But now, he texted me 15 notifications and wrote in 7 times, he even said that he missed me... I felt bad for him.. But I just didn't feel like talking to him. A complete indifferent goes through my body until now. I made an effort to reply 2 or 3 notifications... He even read my last messages and didn't reply yet.. I guess he feels something s wrong. Please, tell me what is suddenly happening to me, because I don't want him to suffer from that.. Is this normal what I'm feeling?

I guess so. When you are exposed to something everyday, you eventually get tired of it and you'll want a time off from that. It depends on your feelings. If he stopped messaging you for one day, maybe you will suddenly miss him and get back to messaging him again. Do you feel like talking about it to him?
