I've noticed that any time a white and black person have a baby. everyone follows the dated racial idea of the one drop rule.

If one parent is really dark black and the other is pale white. They expect to call the baby only black and not mixed if it comes out with a skin tone between. Obama is a perfect example. His father is really dark and his mother really pale. But we refer to him as black when everything from his features to his skin tone is exactly between

It seems like most mixed people are more or less exactly between. Obama has lips, a nose, facial structure exactly between.

It just seems like it's still so common for people to use the only racist idea of the one drop and expect anything not as white as paper to be white when a fact is there are even darker white
