I've had 2 men say "I'm going to marry you". A different man say "Marry me and we'll have genetically superior children.".

Most recently, as a joke, one on GaG using emojis.

None of them ACTUALLY asked "Will you marry me?". So, I'm pretty happy to say it's a first still to come. :}

One guy took me engagement ring shopping on our first (and last!) date. We had been friends for 2 or 3 years prior but it was enough to weird me out.

Another guy I dated wanted to marry me after a few weeks. He talked about getting married, moving back to his home country and having kids and I was like "Whoa! I'm not even there yet" so that ended shortly thereafter. He was serious and ready for that kind of commitment but I was not. He ended up dumping me, dating a friend of ours and they got married, moved to his home country, had kids and are still together for this day. I am happy for them. They were both ready and looking for serious relationship and that's just not where I was at the time.

An ex-boyfriend proposed to me five times. I kept telling him "Maybe later" and on the fifth time I realized I was never going to marry him. So I left.

And there are other guys who knew they wanted to marry me before we even started dating.

I guess there have never been lack of options but more so figuring out what I want and finding the man I want to devote the rest of my life to. <3

Lol this reminded me of yesterday. A customer walked in started asking about the product we sell and after my sale before he was out he asks my nationality. He says if I would marry his son that lives about an hour from where I live. I started laughing and said no thanks. Before leaving he mentioned that he would be back to speak to. my parents so I would marry his son 😂😂😂.

I'm turning 24 later this year. Aaand so you know, the minimum age used to be 29. But, I've met some amazing men around their late 20s that show me their age is also a good age.

Usually around 25-26 is when they start "slowing down" with partying and such.

Then you got older people who are are late 20a to 30a who are just as sexual but they know they are running out of time so they force themselves into commitment.
