I've always known it to be somewhat of a thing with some white guys, but now I'm wondering if it's actually worse than I ever thought. It seems as if many white males are bothered by white women dating black men, or black men pursuing them, as if they fear that we're stealing their women or worried that it means white guys aren't desirable or something, which I don't think is true.
Yesterday I was leaving the shopping center and saw two white women chatting with a black man, and were quite giggly and flirtatious with him, and I saw a white guy standing a distance away watching with a firm look on his face as if he thought it was appalling or something.
Even here on GaG I've been surprised to see white guys saying they would never date a white girl who's dated or had sex with a black man, and white girls who have - or want to - were bothered by that.
It doesn't bother me when black women hate white women and black men together, and it doesn't even bother me when some white women themselves say they're just not into us, but there's something disturbing about white guys being so upset about it. So is this really a thing more than I or maybe other people have realized?
From what I can tell, people who are reasonably happy with themselves and their lives won't care about mixed race couples. I'm a southerner and my family is a multi-generational dyed-in-the-wool South Carolina family. My parents didn't care (or if they did, they certainly never let on that they did), when one of my brothers married a black girl and they treat their grandchildren from that relationship the same as they do my kids or any of their other grandchildren. I had a relationship with a black man for a little over a year. Again, fortunately, no negativity from either my family or my friends, though at the end of the day, it wouldn't have hindered me if I had because it's not their business. I'm also fully aware that other people have had far worse experiences, but I really believe that people's negativity is a reflection of their own state of mind/state of life.

I live in the south where it takes decades for anything to become socially norm. In my experience, black women and white men are the most bitter about interracial dating. My dad is the worst. I "dated" a black guy on and off for almost a year, but I didn't try to make it work because I just knew my dad and most of my family would disown me for even flirting with a black man. So we were strictly friends with benefits. I regret letting him get away now, because I've come to accept the fact that no one can choose who I potentially fall in love with but me. And in my opinion, we weren't given different skin tones to "stick together" we were given different skin tones for variety so we wouldn't get bored 😉

As a white man with a black girlfriend, I can tell you this isn't just a "racist" white man issue. My girlfriend and I have received dirty looks, raised eyebrows, and behind the back snickering from black men and women alike. I understand but I think most people think of white as meaning ancestral origin not just skin color. It's really confusing because for instance middle eastern Arabs are considered white in the U. S. census but almost no one including them considers them white.
Then Europeans, Asians, Middle East and specifically White south Asians originate from single ancestors in the past possibly Aryans cuz there is evidence pointing to it. I love black people as friends cuz they are always loyal and feel your pain. I don't want to offend others but it is their basic trait. They are always loyal and for Black girls I have not dated anyone but I love their big booty.

Most of the white girls I knew (many) who messed around with black guys tended to be, shall, we say... plus-sized. So no, it didn't bother me very much.

meaning that you have destroyed your unique genes, unique meaning that white people can have all of the hair and eye colors that exist, while non whites just have basic black hair and brown eyes.
Apparently Blue eyes are disliked now, even though I've gotten many compliments on my light Blue Eyes from several women of all ethnicities and have even seen black women with natural brown eyes buy blue eye contacts.
but, of course, I don't expect everyone to share my viewpoints.. to each their own.
