My boyfriend is mad at me and ditched me to play DnD last night?

anyway he was supposed to come over one night and he was working over and got out at like 230 am I got mad because he kept me up and didn't come over. Anyway I asked about last night and he saI'd he would think about it and then he said I'm not comming over tonight the guys wanted to play DnD and they don't get angry when they don't get their way. so he didn't come over. his phone either died or he shut it off last night. that statement made me so angry. I asked this morning about tonight and he said maybe. should I break up with him? he really made me mad this time and I can't seem to calm down I love him but I think it was rude and disrespectful.

You need to understand that he doesn't necessarily get to choose his work hours, and he didn't intend to keep you up or upset you by doing his job.

But he needs to understand that you were disappointed and worried and you just want to spend time with him.

Yes, you need to talk this out. Give him a little time to cool off, then bring it up in a calm, tactful way. Avoid being accusatory, since that will make him defensive and inhibit communication. Tell him that you're sorry if you stressed him out, and you understand that he was working hard and it wasn't his fault he had a late night. Explain that you were just disappointed because you wanted to spend time with him, and it was frustrating that the plans changed- even though you understand that it wasn't his fault. See what he has to say. It's understandable that he got stressed out by the situation, but ultimately he needs to respect your feelings too and talk things out rather than running off with his friends.

God the guy wants to play with his friends and you go crazy mad because wants to play dungeon and dragons? Men need their time with there fellow guys. Just dump the guy, I'm sure he'd be more happy with some other girl. And if not he'll just come crawling back
