Boyfriend constantly scratches and cuts me with his braces?

I love my boyfriend but literally any time his mouth comes into contact with any part of me I end up with all sorts of cuts and scratches. The first and only time he went down on me I was left with cuts all over my crotch. Then when we make out he always accidentally leaves cuts and scratches on my neck. The cuts are usually so small that I don't even notice them til I shower and the soap gets in the wounds and it stings a little. Anybody have any solutions?

Ouch :/ He is going to need to be more careful. His braces shouldn't protrude past his actual lips and tongue so it should be entirely possible for him to kiss and pleasure you without scratching and cutting you. He is just not being careful enough and he needs to start being so. Talk to him. If you are able to have sex then you are able to have a conversation about sex.

I keep telling him that he's constantly scratching me and then he apologizes and promises to be gentler the next time. Then when the next time comes he starts off actually trying to be gentler and then eventually he gets really into it and ends up scratching me anyway.

You need to make the conversation firmer then. Tell him that you've already spoken about this before and yet he still continues to get careless when he gets passionate. Tell him that this needs to stop because he's actually hurting you. If he doesn't get the message then take sex off the table until he does. Or bite his penis, he'll soon get the message then.

seems like he needs to just do a better job of getting his teeth out of the way. i'd just talk to him about it and work on kissing and oral where there is less teeth involved... it should be something he is capable of doing. if he is unable to then you may have to consider not being intimate

Do the wax thing like the other girl recommended. Don't be too mean with it because he seems like a nice guy and you shouldn't break up with him just because of the scratches because eventually, his braces will be removed.

I'm not mean to him about it and he really is a nice guy. I don't plan on breaking up with him because of that but it's really annoying constantly having to deal with cuts and scratches after hanging out with him. I'm gonna try the wax.

My boyfriend said the same thing about me when I had braces, try getting him to put wax over the front braces (he should know what I'm talking about)
