A lot of television shows and media always act like a guys if frustrated or annoyed when their girlfriend gets her period. My boyfriend and I are most likely to argue a couple days before my period starts (usually due to PMS). He will sometimes bring up frustration when I overreact to stupid stuff and then I quickly get over it. However, when my actual period starts he's always very nurturing and sweet. This morning, I literally started my period while we were having sex, so he obviously knew about it. Today, I came home from work and he ordered us food and was like "baby you should take a bath and get comfortable; the food won't be here for awhile." All night he cuddled with me and rubbed my back. He gets this way every month and it's really sweet. I rarely complain about my period. Occasionally, I get painful cramps and will mention them but nothing too whiny. My guess was that he gets this way because he appreciates me getting my period because it means that I'm not pregnant or it just gives him an opportunity each month to take care of me? Do most boyfriends act like this or are they usually just frustrated by their girlfriend getting her period.
What are your feelings generally when your girlfriend gets her period? Are you likely to be more or less nurturing?
