It often happens to me, some handsome guy flirts with me and I don't even doubt he's single cause he chases me all day and then I find out he's taken.
Today I met that guy, we flirted a lot and even hugged me and he said he had never felt so strong connection at first sight and etc etc... My girl friend was near us and she said he definitely tried to impress me and obviously liked me but then another friend told me that he has a girlfriend.

I don't want to have a boyfriend if that's how all guys are. I imagine myself in the shoes of his girlfriend and I would not like if my boyfriend flirted with another girl like that.

All guys are not that way. Some men do that because they are totally self-absorbed and don't care if they break their promises to a girlfriend. Some guys flirt just to stay in practice. Most of us don't flirt if we are committed.

Just my take on this, but even if I was taken I would engage in light flirting with others (not enough to make it seem like I was interested, but enough to maybe give them a little self-esteem boost), but I'd make sure my girlfriend knew about it and was fine with it.
