i've had guys who like me (who I don't really like back) tell me that before, but now my crush just said it. he never has before.

is it just a goodnight to anybody thing? or do you only say it to certain people?

I usually just say it to friends and occasionally my girlfriend but it dsnt really mean anything ... just another way to say goodnight

I know this was written over a year ago, but I wanted to say it depends on the guy. I personally say it to everyone. Guys and girls alike. My parents and family made it a tradition to say it to everyone. Girls would think I was being flirty all the time. Truth is, it's just what I say. If I'm talking to the girl I like I typically add, I'll text/ call you in the morning. Or at least something similar.

Well for me individually I only say it to people who I care and love most (ex. my little niece, this chick I like, etc..) So from what I would think this guy might have a "Thing" for you and probably feels the same way.
