Why does my boyfriend criticize everything I do?

I've been in this on/off relationship for 6 months, and when it's good, it's great. When it's bad, it's horrible. He gets annoyed at everything I do, and it makes me so upset. Gets angry when I eat food the wrong way, even when I sneeze, he gives me dirty looks. Criticizes my job, gets super p*ssed when I cry (only because he makes me), says I embarrass him when I try to pay for myself. We just got in a motorcycle accident.. I didn't get as banged up as he did, but when I even say anything about my nearly broken toe, I get yelled at by him asking me if I'd wanna switch places. Are there any other guys like this, or am I truly in an emotionally abusive relationship? I need help, because I truly love him when he's being good to me.. but every 3 days it seems, he just gets annoyed with my existence and I feel extremely worn out from it.

Sugar...you need to walk away and never look back. This guy ought to have "Abuser" tattooed on his forehead.

Unless you wish to end up on anti depressants just so you can keep being his whipping post, you need to leave.

When you love someone there is no blame...no finger pointing...no attempts to make them change to suit you. You don't take out your frustrations on the one you are in a relationship with. You are supposed to grow and flourish with that person.

You don't deserve to have to walk on egg shells the rest of your life.

Walk away and save yourself years of emotional, and I am quite sure in the not too distant future, physical torment.

There are guys out there who will love you for who you are, and who will treat you with common respect.

That's a pretty bad relationship if he constantly criticizes you. Personally, I hate being criticized. He shouldn't be dragging you down. There's a line between being honest and just being mean for the fun of it. If he can't change, I would move on. You could give him a taste of his own medicine and criticize the things he does wrong.
