Tomboy, hot or not? opinion please!

So I have always been sorta a tomboy. I like to do many our door activities and I enjoy the sport of shooting. I feel as though guys don't want a girlfriend that is so tomboy but would just rather be friends or w/e. Since the guys I am interested in have the same interests in the sports I play (hockey and lax) or my shooting, I feel like I am "one of the guys" rather than being someone they would want a dating type of relationship with. Is this true for most guys? Like would you rather have a girlfriend that is tomboy and interested in a lot of the same things as you or the normal girlfriend that has more of her own activities and such. And not to say I am not girly I am dress fine and wear makeup!

Absolutely! I love a "rugged" girl, but that's just me. I can't stand the "Girly-Girl" types (or Candy-Asses) in Men.

I love to hunt, fish, camp, etc. That sounds awesome. My wife is a real trooper, too. It's why I love her so much. She's the "dominant" type. She's the kinda girl that holds her friends hair while they are puking from drinking too much. My wife is crazy like that, too. She'll sit with us, while we're playing poker, stand up to my friends, when they are drunk. LOL, yeah, my wife is kinda... who am I kidding... a MAJOR tom-boy, and it's so cool, because she can be so sweet. Just don't p*ss my sweety Dee off... (She's Scotts-Irish, and tough as Hell itself).

To be honest, I have never liked those plastic Blondes, all petitte and such. Nope. I like my babes fiesty, stacked and packed.

Actually, tomboys are sort of a refreshing change from the "girly girls". Sometimes those types of girls can get annoying because of the way they act. It's cool to have a girl that's down to earth and goes with the flow. But you are right about how guys view them. If you too much like a guy, they will treat you like one. At the end of the day, a girl that acts like she's ready to have fun with the guys but still has the feelings of a girl is what would draw me to her.

most guys like girls who have a feminine side. you can like sports but if you act too much like a guy, or one of the guys its a turn off. would you wanna date a guy who was like one of your honorary girl friends? its not about how you look all the time, it could be how you act

I think that if your a tomboy guys would be ver interested because your not some stuck up girl whos not afraid to play sports. If you dress like a tomboy that might be a problem

Here is my opinion:

As a heterosexual man, I got involve in activities that are naturally predominated by men (Not my choice - I wish I have a passion for crotchet, but I honestly don't) such as target shooting, trap and skeet. Women who are into those fields of activities are rare. If you are one, then I would imagine there would be many, I mean many, men to choose from. Not to say that we are in our shooting club to find women. We go to bars and ride our Harleys for that. But when it comes to shooting, it is the Zen mentality that we are concentrating on to get the 0.25 MOA in our shots!

I would date a tomboy, not because I dislike other type of girls but just because they aren't out of my league, girls that like what you described and video games, and such as thing boys like they something like a girl who can do that, have something sports like or game like to talk about instead of them wine and complain about clothes and make up.

Tomboys are hot, definitely, but just so long as they are not also kinda butch. I still want to feel like I'm dating a girl and not a girl that acts like a guy all the time (in personality, not in actions/activities).

I prefer tomboys...basically, I always liked sporty, casual type of girls...and especially women of action, the assertive type of girls, or modern Amazons. I guess, I like women who like to be in charge.
