GIRLS: Would you dump a guy because his hair is thinning?

Or would you just get less attracted to him as time goes on? Baldness runs in my mom's family. My uncles' and mom's grandpa started going bald at a VERY young age (one uncle was in his teens). However I thought I dodged a bullet because I thought I inherited all my dad's physical characteristics (he didn't start balding until 40). I look a lot like my dad.

Well at 28 I noticed my hair started thinning in the front. At first I thought it was a bad hair day until I saw pictures of myself on facebook. I was pretty devasted. I always looked young for my age. I was enjoying dating many younger girls, but now I can't get away with looking younger anymore. A few of the younger girls don't seem as responsive as they used to be. I know it could be for several reasons but this sure as hell doesn't help.

It would be one thing If I had been in a long term serious relationship and or married and my hair started thinning. But I'm still single. I know girls look at more than just looks, but for first impressions this isn't exactly a confidence booster.

I'm doing all I can to slow this down (rogaine/propecia) and I'm even considering hair transplants (they run from 3K to 10K+). Fortunately it's not that noticeable...especially from a distance. I just don't want it to get worse. Also I don't have a very good skull for shaving my head.

Is a guy with thinning hair really that much of a turn off? You can be honest.

Update, I've been taking propecia/minoxidil for 9 months. Stuff works! My hair isn't thick as 7 years ago, but the thinning spot is much less noticeable.
