Is any of this true or is it just a bunch of bull?
Do guys (or girls) test the waters before saying "I love you" for the first time?
Is any of this true or is it just a bunch of bull?
sounds like a bunch of bull to me, I Determine how I love someone by being around them. If they have a very interesting or Nice Personality/Charisma then that might be the stepping stone for me to love them. Their goals, views, opinions, manners, humor, etc, all of those are things I watch and pay close attention to in a woman. Call it judging or whatever you like , but I want to make sure the person I'm planning to date isn't a bitch or anything. Also its about the feeling I have when I'm around the; When I'm sitting with them , I want to feel either relaxed, comfortable or happy or all of the above when I'm with them. Well that works for me =)
true LOVE or the real meaning of it is grown from a seed called "like"...
it is planted in dirt which is a common bond (friendship)
then water comes in which is poured over affection for one another...
the soil is rich in all the commonalities, such as humor , laughter , reliance,ect...
then the sunlight is the commitment , loyality and pure happiness...
Then "LOVE" pops out of the soil ... and then the true growth begins...
neutering that LOVE is a whole other chapter !
I can gaurentee if someone says they love you before they know you, then they do NOT know what love really is!
Very nice analogy... but you didn't answer my question at all lol
@I've heard that guys usually avoid the word "love" completely until they are in love. I
why would you use love before you are in love?
everyone tests the waters.. even babies.
Because you can love certain things about a person before you're "in love" with them.
Interesting... How can it be too personal if you love the person though? If you're in love with the person then things are already very personal, no?
no. I'm kind of private with my feelings. I can spend time with a person , experience things with them, relate to the, fall in love & not tell them. I don't like to talk about it. Its enough just to feel it. love is one of the words I'm extremely uncomfortable saying. it took me all year to be able to type it. love. see? love . ^^
That's understandable. Just be careful not to end up letting a guy walk away because he thinks you don't love him when you really do. I'm usually a little on the reserved side too, but once I love a person and I know they love me too, there's no holding back.
Yes they do
Just to know how the opposite gender feels about it
Then it comes to proposal
I think she meant proposal of love. A lot of people on this sight use that word for more than just a proposal of marriage.
