This guy and I have been on four dates or so. He asks me to sit with him and his friends at lunch. He sits next to me during class. Goes out of his way to talk to me. We've made out before but I've made it very, very clear that nothing farther than that is happening unless he's my boyfriend. He holds doors and stuff like that. Everything is fine. Here's the thing. There's another guy who wants to take me on a date. I don't want to wait for this other guy if he's never going to ask me to be his girlfriend. But I feel guilty if I went on two dates on the weekend, you know? I like the first guy but have the potential to like the other for sure.
Should I date both?
How many dates should go by before it becomes official?
Well, first if the guy you've already dated hasn't made it official than you shouldn't feel bad about going out on a date with another guy, just let him know about it and let him know that it doesn't change anything. Go out with the other guy and then maybe at some point introduce the 2 guys and you all hang together, that way you can see who you like more..
As for how many dates before it becomes official; it all depends on what you're both comfortable with. Personally to me its when you've both made that commitment because without that the relationship will definitely fall apart.

I think the third date is when you should start talking about where the relationship is going.
All depend on you and chemistry that he has with you. After fourth dates and you guy are not official yet then I don't it going to anywhere.

How Long Should You Date Before Making It Official?
When it comes to dating, the question of how long should you date before making it official can be a tough one to answer. There are so many factors to consider, such as how well you get along with each other, how often you see each other, and how serious you are about the relationship.
If you've been dating for a while and you're not sure if you want to make it official, here are a few things to consider that may help you make up your mind:
- First, ask yourself how well you know each other. If you've been on a few dates and you feel like you know each other pretty well, then you may be ready to make it official. However, if you've only been on a few dates and you don't feel like you know each other that well, then you may want to wait a bit longer.
- Second, consider how often you see each other. If you're seeing each other a lot, then you may be ready to make it official. However, if you're only seeing each other once in a while, then you may want to wait a bit longer.
- Third, ask yourself how serious you are about the relationship. If you're looking for something serious and you think the person you're dating is on the same page, then you may be ready to make it official. However, if you're not looking for anything serious and you're just dating for fun, then you may want to wait a bit longer.
Making the decision to make your relationship official is a big one, so make sure you take the time to consider all of the factors before you make a decision.

How to Make Your Relationship Official
There are a few key things to do if you want to make your relationship official:
- First, talk to your partner and make sure you are both on the same page. You should both be ready and willing to take things to the next level. If you're both on board, then it's time to start making some changes in your relationship.
- One of the first things you'll want to do is start referring to your partner as your "boyfriend" or "girlfriend." This is a small but important change that will signal to both of you that things are now serious. You'll also want to start spending more time together and getting to know each other's friends and family. This will help solidify the relationship and make it feel more real.
- Of course, you'll also want to continue doing all the things that made you fall in love in the first place. Keep being yourself, keep being supportive and loving, and keep doing things together that make you both happy. By taking things slow and steady, you can turn your relationship into something that both of you will cherish for a lifetime.

his is an excelent question, this is something that I pay attention a lot to as well.
In my opinion hmmm don't date both you might jeopordize the relationship, and also I don't think it is the number of dates per say...i like to go by the time that you have known each other...two months its a good amount of time before it becomes oficial. The reason for that in my opinion, is that you not only get to know him on dates, but also how he is around his budds and doing other stuff you know?
How long have you known this guy? and also just wondering how did he ask you out on your first date?Dont date two people at the same time! That's just bad news all around.
