My laid back boyfriend is frustrating me... What should I do?

you feel like you're more into him than he is into you? like, he gives excuses as to why he can't meet your needs, but says he cares about you (with no BUT...), he really likes you, is in a serious long term relationship with you, but your communication isn't where it's supposed to be at (for you) but says he's always there for you and wants you to express your feelings, can't get a read on his, but when you're together in person, it's perfect and he does things for you, is affectionate etc. and says he enjoys his time with you.

for one, this is our first relationship. he says he doesn't know a lot and needs you to cut him some slack, but you've done everything physically (and I kind of regret that) and were each others' firsts. and no he isn't cheating on me.

what should I do?

Your question was very vague. What exactly do you want him to do that he's not already doing? Call you more frequently? Send you love letters? Meet up more often in person? There wasn't any specifics as to all the things you're doing for him that he's not doing for you. He just might feel comfortable enough knowing you that he doesn't feel like he has to win you over any longer. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it just means he might be able to put in a little more effort, that's all.

Sounds like he might be losing interest. A guy who is really all the things that he says he is acts in those ways. He is available, he does self disclose, and you don't ever have to question whether or not he's into you.

He's just laid back as you say so he plays the part. It's just how he is. From whàt I read, it seems like he cares about you. But if you are not enjoying who he is then finish it.

You're taking things more seriously than he is, so you should pull back and chill. It's not like he's your husband so feel free to explore other options since he's not as into you

I think you should propose taking a break just to jolt him into the idea that he might lose you. If that's too extreme, just tell him or rather mirror his behavior. Or do nothing and just wait.
