I think my boyfriend likes someone else? What should I do? Am I overreacting?

First of all let me start by saying that my boyfriend is really attractive and hot (he is a male model) but since I'm confident I'm usually never insecure about loosing him, other girls hit on him non stop but I'm know is mine. But this time things are different

There's a new girl in our town her name is Lia and she's really exotic she has brown skin green eyes she has much has I hate do admit she is drop dead gorgeous and has loads of guys after her

She is kind of in my group of friends and I first start to getting worried when my boyfriend acted all shy and awkward when she was around (he is usually very loud and out going)

I asked him joking if he had feelings for her and he reaction shocked me he didn't look me in the eye blushed and reply me "Don't be silly".

Then he started talking to her and he doesn't shut up about her "she's so funny" "Omg guess what Lia told the other day" things like that so now I know that she's just he's type in terms of personality because he loves funny, out going, girls.

I hate Lia she annoys me a lot, she's always talking everything that comes in her mind, and everyone thinks she is so "special" so I started spreading rumors about her (I know it was wrong but when I'm mad at someone I can't control myself)

When my boyfriend find out he told me he was sick of my mean attitudes and if I did anything similar he would break up with me.

I always been "mean" but before he didn't seem to bother him. We argue every time, and I love him very much I don't want to loose him, we need each other. Even if we break up I don't want to see him with Lia, everyone but her.

What should I do? And does he like her?

Look. I don't have any nice way of saying this ,so I'll say it. GROW UP.

You're jealous as f*** and you have two blades ready to go for her back. The more you try to tear someone down, the more weak and petty you look, the less attractive you appear to be.

No one wants a control freak. You can try to hold on to him all you want, reality is, if he walks on you, he walks. You can't do sh*t. That is reality. The fact you questioned his loyalty/ faith to you, is enough to make him to think other wise. Yeah sure he doesn't shut up about someone who he thinks is really nice and cool. boo hoo. You're not getting attention,so you're jealous she is. He is STILL with you. Although your actions seem to have f***ed that up. You can't control yourself, which I believe you should work on. If you can't control yourself, how can you expect to control someone else (despite that isn't a possibility to begin with,as people do what they wish,as they see fit).

And while you where jealous and afraid of losing your boyfriend you started spreading rumours about lia. I can understand that. However your boyfriend does not. He still thinks you beleave him when you asked him if he had feelings for her.

Its kinda obvious since you noticed it in his behavior.

Its better to tell him why you spreaded rumours about her

I don't know if you solved your problem cause this was posted 10 months ago but to be honest, I'm not gonna hate on you for being jealous. I understand what it feels like when you really love someone. The thought of them being with someone else breaks you apart. It has nothing to do with this girl and you hating her, it could be any girl he likes you'll hate her just as well. Be honest with him and tell him that you think that he might have a crush on her. Tell him to be honest with you and that you won't be mad. Read his body language. There are a lot of guys saying that they don't like a girl who's jealous but guess what? You wouldn't want to catch a guy flirting with their girl in front of their faces. I'm sure of that. Follow your heart. Don't be mean to this girl and don't spread rumors about her because karma may get to you, if you behave like a good girlfriend it's his loss if he chooses to lose you, at least you wouldn't have any guilt. :)

No matter what you try to force on people, at the end of the day, people are going to do what they want to do. So, you either can't trust him and you end the relationship, or you trust him and treat him accordingly. I can understand why you are jealous, seeing the one we love be attracted to someone else can be unbearable. If you treat her poorly, he is going to lose respect for you. If you try to force rules on him, he's going to start despising you. You'll keep wearing him down until he's had enough and he'll walk. Then guess what? You've just made your fear come true, because of the way you handled the situation.

Regardless if a man is in a relationship, if a girl is attractive, they will find them attractive - you can't be mad about that.

He obviously loves you, that's why he is still with you, if he wanted to be with Lia, I'm sure he would just up and leave. But you starting a rumour about her doesn't really help, your going to push him away, and if you do, he'll fall into Lia's arms. The last thing you want is her being upset about a rumour you started and runnng to your boyfriend for a shoulder to cry on.

If you trust him and are happy in your relationship, there shouldn't be a problem.

I have no idea, about your looks, there are some girls, they look that pretty, you don't need to look at other girl, but personality is very important, but it seems like you love your boyfriend, and you're jealous because of that, he should like you're jealous but don't talk bad about other people, it's not a good thing, and one day, when you lay on your boyfriend's arms, just tell him you love him a lot, and you're scared to lose him and hug him, that's it.
