I've never had butterflies for my boyfriend...Is that bad?

I've been with my boyfriend for 6 months but I knew him for a few months earlier (as a friend). My friend asked me it butterflies ever go away (she is in her first relationship) and that made me start thinking... I have never felt them. I feel warm and fuzzy and thinking of him makes me smile but there is no fluttery feeling. To me that's more nerves I guess? Is that bad? Or is every relationship different?

Every relationship is different =) there are some guys that I just had a warm fuzzy feeling for, and there were others that I felt butterflies when we kissed. But those faded anyways, and were replaced with warm and fuzzy. I think as long as you're happy there's no good or bad about it. As for your friend, first relationship butterflies are normal, everything is new and exciting. Some people might say that warm and fuzzy = love, whereas butterflies = lust. Depends on how you see it, that statement is sometimes true.

Hi, I'd loke to say that different have different feelings towards their boyfriend or girlfriend. Your not having butterflies for you boyfriend is not a big deal. You said you feel warm and fuzzy and you feel happy because of him. That's enough! Best wishes for you!

Not really, like you said every relationship is different. You're just overthinking things. The fact that you feel happy when you think of him is great enough.
