Should I introduce him as my boyfriend?

I have been dating this guy for about a month now, and we haven't come out and talked about anything exclusive. We've gone on a bunch of double dates and only a few one-on-one dates. He came to church with me this past weekend and I didn't know how to introduce him, so I just ended up saying, "This is my friend from school". We are obviously "together" and have even spent time with each other's families. Should I call him my boyfriend or should I wait till he calls me his girlfriend?

Well, little sister, you did manage to lead the poor bugger to church services so he must like you. However you need to pick his brain on the whole boyfriend & girlfriend theme. If your faith mandates a sex-free relationship, and you plan to remain all wholesome and such like, then your heretofore unlabeled male associate my not want a sanitized relationship. His idea of a girlfriend my include, you know, actual sex. This is a common expectation among most men who can still breathe. Don't be afraid to solicit your associate's opinions on partnerships and sex, or the title of "boyfriend" may be a bit premature.

You need to talk to him and see how he feels about the situation. One month is quite a lot of dating and it sounds like he maybe ready to be your boyfriend and be exclusive but he is the only one which can tell you this.

Just sit down and have an honest talk with him face to face. It sounds like he is really in to you and that things are going well so I'm sure all will be fine.

Why do you have to say "this is my friend"? Just say, "This is Jusitn." It doesn't matter how you know him and until you figure it out you shouldn't call him your BF, it might freak him out. But since he has gone to church with you I am guessing he thinks of himself that way but you should talk about it first.

i think you should have he exclusivity talk with him.

just say that you're not sure how you two should b introducing each other as and ask him for his opinion. that's the only way you're gonna find out how he feels, then neither of you are caught off guard in a social situation.

I would just introduce him as your significant other.

Technically not a boyfriend but not technically not.

I would ask him how he would like to be introduced.
