Coworker told me he "loves" me. Should I tell him I "love" him back?

I asked him why he teased me all the time and he said because he loves me. I'm going to assume he meant it as a friendship love, but I was just wondering if it would be alright to tell him I "love" him back, as a friend?

That's plaing with fire. He may be flirting with you to test your reaction, and if you start tellin ghim you love him, as afriedn or no, he may get the very wrongest sort of idea and you'll have a 'situationl' to deal with at work!

Just the gossip along could be aporblem if you start using this sort of language with him!

If you are sure that he loves you only as a friend. tell him something like I love you too, you are a great friend

I say this not to be cruel but if you are really 36 to 45 I do not know how you function in life. Only YOU can answer this question. We are not in your head.
