Why do most women have such a big ego?

i'm talking about the majority of women not every single woman in the planet.

It has happend to me and my male friends that if we ask a woman out and she doesn't want to ,she will put excuses instead of saying"thanks for the offer you are very kind but no thanks."Some female friends of mine say"they do it because they don't want to hurt his feelings" who tells them the man is so interested that he can't handle rejection? usually he just wants sex especially if he hardly knows the girl he can't be in love already with her.

I prefer a woman that says"thanks very much for your offer but no thanks" rather than putting up pathetic excuses.this way I won't waste time and I'll go looking for another woman.i'm not talking about young woman I have experienced this even with mature 35 year old women. they must think that every man would fall at their feet and fall in love with them. Confidence is a good thing, but I think they have a huge ego...

It's nothing to do with having a big ego. It's how women communicate. Men are more straightforward, they are raised to be assertive and speak up. Girls, on the other hand, are raised to be sweet, permissive and compliant and are often called bitches when they're being upfront. They also pick up subtle clues easier so they assume we understand their meanings like they would. You can't blame girls for talking in girl-speak, that's how they are. When she rejects you with an excuse, it's not her thinking you're in love, it's her trying to be nice and her communicating in a way she's been conditioned to.

I don't think females have big ego's at all, its more down too, they don't want to hurt your feelings. I have had to turn down girls that have asked me out, and I made silly excuses, and that's because I feel bad for saying no. Its got nothing to do with having a big ego. People are just generally scared of making that person feel like sh*t. rejection for most people is hard to take. some people are just trying to turn you down you in a nice polite fashion, rather than saying your not my type. sometimes honesty doesn't do you any favors.

I can't answer why these women say these things because I am not them.

But obviously, given these examples you know how to decode these women clearly.

So, go with that and try your luck with someone else.

It has to do with the communication skills, and not want to put off to the guy that he is being rejected.

Also some women may like a man chasing after them, because those with egos will have them inflated even more.

It makes them feel special.

I think most women do not have a huge ego, though a lot do. Some guys really do take rejection badly, but I am one of the few who speaks her mind and says "not interested." I have a had a few guys who kept pushing and pushing, and the fact that I was repulsed or ambivalent about them wasn't enough to keep them away. It's not a matter of "look how great I am, they want me," it's a matter of "geez, doesn't this guy know he has other options?" Meh.

You probably make her uncomfortable. Or, she doesn't have the guts to out-right reject you. Whatever. That's *okay*. She doesn't have to reject you politely, or clearly. That's okay. And; they don't have big egos because they feel bad. If a guy asks her out, he obviously likes her. if she feels bad, she has a heart. Let her have a heart man.
