Let me know what you think!
Have you found good chemistry with many people or is it more rare than that?
I think Chemistry is important when it comes to initial attraction - especially for women! I don't find it all that important though, and think it can be developed over time (though not all the time). I don't find it all that rare either. Somewhat rare, but I've had initial chemistry with plenty of people and I feel that it usually fades out fast.
I'll give an example. I met this guy randomly one day. A casual conversation quickly grew to two or three hours. We had a lot of rare things in common. And I feel comfortable around him, like I could tell him any secret and could handle any amount of teasing from him. However, over time I came to know all the reasons why the two of us would not work out as a couple. He can be really immature, and really shallow and his afraid of displaying emotion. I also couldn't trust him to not f--k up someday. Regardless something just clicks and we get each other.
My boyfriend and I didn't have that instant chemistry or natural flow of conversation. And I sometime really have to push myself to tell him things. And we easily confuse each other sometimes. But its the best relationship I've ever had! Communication takes more effort but when we reach an understanding, its an amazing feeling and we can love each other more deeply because of it. And he's not afraid to be vonerable with me - which allows for deeper love. I just trust him completely.
I guess what I'm saying is I think qualities in a person account for a lot more than chemistry. Not that some chemistry isn't important. You do need to have some sexual attraction, and some common interests. Luckily our relationship has plenty of that as well :)
of course it's important, without it a relationship would just be a chore. I believe it's a matter of hormones and personalities. I think it's rare for some, but, personally,it isn't rare, but it also isn't enough. if your lifestyles don't match,it doesn't matter how much you want to strip the person.
yup I have found great chemistry with the girl I'm talking to now. it is not necessary but it really helps things. When you feel that chemistry I feel like it is meant to be and I'm not afraid to really say how I feel when I feel it. chemistry makes the relationship a lot better and more fluid than having none
Yeah, I think I have to agree with you. I hate when I don't have chemistry with a guy!
