I've been in a long-distance relationship for three months (and ten days now). We are very much in love and often talk about our future together e.g. our wedding theme, babies' names, where our home would be, etc.
However, something is troubling me very much. She won't let send me pictures of herself... I'm not talking about NUDE photos, just normal nonexplicit pictures. We have talked about it before and she has said she "finds it difficult" to take pictures. Every other time I have to ask for them and she takes about five minutes to take and send it.
I send her pictures of myself left right and centre everyday. Being silly, posing, making sad faces when it's late and she tells me to go to bed... But get nothing I'n return. She is really beautiful and I tell her at least twice a day. We trust eachother fully to my own knowledge. She tells me everything from embarrassing things, things that she hasn't told anyone else, all the way to passwords and other valued secrets.
When I first asked to see herself when we met, she made an excuse that her camera was broken and was getting a new one soon. After I discovered that was a lie from one of her friends she admitted she was scared. But scared of what? Maybe back then I would see reason for that, but not now...
She denies it when I tell her how beautiful she is and won't believe it. I can't see this problem being provoked from a case of low self-esteem though...
Does anyone have any reasons as to why she may be reluctant to send pictures of herself without being asked to, or what I can do to possibly assure her that she 'can'?
