I think the idea of being a nun is to draw closer to God and two separate all other things so that you can do that. by having a kid you are putting something that has to be looked after before God. I also think it's very unwise to have kids outside of marriage because you're putting the kid in an unhealthy environment. the kid won't get to see a mom and a dad they will just get to see one side and that's a very dangerous thing to do it doesn't allow them to fully develop and fully get used to the idea of marriage and how they're supposed to act in society. Paul talks about people that are destined to not marry and it says good to not marry is better than to marry I meant to marry is good. so by doing so you are doing better than good. 1st Corinthians 7 is the chapter if you want to read it.
you cannot have any dependents. there are many nuns who have had children prior to becoming a nun but those children cannot be dependents.

You're still young and judging by your profile pic I am pretty sure the decision to become a nun was probably taken without much thought! :-) you will be fine and you will find someone dont worry! We all will at some point! :-) dont tell me out of over 7 billion there isn't someone who you like and who likes you back :-) will be fine good luck! by the way i dont know about whether nuns can have children or not :-/
I think you are being a ridiculous... you don't become a nun just because you are having boy problems and you don't need to be a nun to be celibate. If you want to stay celibate, just be celibate, have your artificial insemination, and keep loving your god, you don't have to be a nun to do those things
not sure about every type of christian, but the ones I belong to don't think that artificial insemination is holy since it separates the union between man and wife. try approaching it from a perspective of all the children you will be serving as your own children
Don't become a nun just because you feel like you won't ever fall in love. If becoming a nun is what you really want, go for it. You can be a devoted Christian and a single mother without becoming a nun you know.

Being a nun is devoting your ENTIRE life to God, not just a back up plan because you don't think you'll find love.
Entire devotion leaves no room to love a child, and you don't seem to understand the role and commitment require.
I think your just having a break down and I would ask an actual nun if I were you, they're the only ones who can actually give you a legitimate answer.
Well nuns do often work at orphanages, so you can convince yourself that the orphanans are like your children. I do not think artificial pregnancy is allowed.

In the Roman Catholic Church Nuns are a symbol of motherhood in the terms of that they "mother" us. They give up their own ability of having children for us. (I'm Catholic)

I suppose Russian orthodox Catholicism has developed different opinions about this than Roman Catholic Catholicism. The great schism happened long ago and there were many councils since.
