  • You're making me wish I had a significant other to go on a romantic getaway with. Lol. Nice take. I love that you included the lists of necessities AND fun stuff. I'm not a huge planner of vacation activities, but I thoroughly plan everything else. I just don't want an itinerary once there. I want to be able to relax, be spontaneous, be carefree and just enjoy. If going on a romantic getaway with a s. o., I want to be able to just bask in each other. Even if that means we don't leave the bedroom for a good portion of the trip. Lol.

  • All I need is the countryside a sea of stars and a blanket, but for the women your ideas should help.

  • That raft needs a big mast with a rope swing.

  • Ohhhh I've always dreamed of going on romantic getway like this one!! Next time I have a boyfriend I'll suggest that we/force him to go on one lol

  • All I really need is just a tent, sleeping bag and night starry sky. 💙

But your idea sounds really cool!

  • I would disagree with the laptop/electronics. Why would I want to bring those on a romantic get-away? Isn't the point of a get-away to leave all of that behind? I would be highly offended if my significant other brought anything more than a phone and that phone better only be used for emergencies. People are way to connected to their devices. Surely you would live a few days without connecting to the internet.

    • The point of the electronics is to possibly bring your own entertain, went, like music or even a romantic movie. It's not to detain you from being present. A little bit of an open mind goes a long way.

    • I did not mean for my comment to be rude. Sorry to offend you. However, I am pretty taken back by being told to have an open mind. You do not know me at all and can hardly judge how open minded or not I am. If you knew me or even took the time to read any of my other comments on the site I believe you would think otherwise. Also, even though the intention may be to entertain, we all know how addicted some people are too their devices and I am sure it would be quite tempting to avoid using them for other purposes.

    • Again, not attacking you, simply addressing your comment about my inclusion of electronics. We don't know each other, agreed, so with no hostility or defensiveness on my part I simply offered clarification and the suggestion of a wider perspective on the article. Hope you have a day filled with love and success.

  • Isn't No.1 Money?
    xD

But for a relaxing getaway you don't really need money - just some skill, some imagination and someone with you. =)

  • I also have to have plenty of romantic music, lots of hugs and kisses, and plenty of time for never being apart but always together!

    • I'll need a lot of bath products when we take baths every night. If we were husband/wife, we would need our virginities with us. Never had sex but first as husband and wife!

  • I must have a chick who is willing to get naked.

  • so romantic!! I don't have a significant other, but I'm always the one that forgets to pack things! aha I need a weekend getaway with friends or a spa day!!

    • I'm game. Let's go!

  • Life must be so hard for you

    • Come on now, play nice. There is no need to attack anyone for desiring to take some time and acknowledge the importance of romance and time away from work and other responsibilities. Put out love and you get it in return. Put out bitterness and you experience more misery.
