Even self identified nice guys get laid

Here's a question I asked to collect some data: Do you consider yourself a nice guy? How many sexual partners have you had?

At present of the guy's who (in their own view) aren't nice, 5 are virgins and one has had sex with fewer than 5 women.

Of the guys who self identify as nice, 17 are virgins, 8 have had a few partners, and 15 have had more than 5 sexual partners.

So of the nice guys more or less equal numbers of them are succesful sexually and virgins, whereas with the non-nice guys 5 of the 6 are virgins, and none have had many partners.

I've long doubted that being nice would in itself reduce a guys chances, though perhaps it may have been correlated with poorer success (perhaps due to lower testosterone). But it seems to actually be correlated with sexual success, and that's with guys who self identify as nice.

people seldom self identify as a bad person, very few people are honest about their flaws. I like your survey it's a good idea I just don;t think it's a good way to determine the results your looking for.

the whole 'nice guy' versus 'bad boy' stereotype is bull shit anyway.

there are alphas and betas and nice guys and bad guys can fall into both camps. point being it's strength of character / confidence that wins the women over. you can have a nice personality AND be an alpha male, it's not either / or.

in short, be great guy, not a 'nice' guy.

I'm not sure what answer you are looking for. I can only assert that the dominant alpha in the pack would find a way to maintain his position- through fear if need be - during an uprising.

Not necessarily - the dominant male can be replaced, either killed or or defeated and chased off. How can the male doing that too him possibly be nice? It's a completely selfish thing to do.

That's what I've noticed, too. Self-proclaimed nice guys are actually terrible guys that get laid for free all the time. I'm only nice to people when I want to be nice or if they deserve it.

bs. the self identified as nice guys 99% of the time are not nice guys. either resentful beta losers or overconfident jocks who think they are nice cauuse they dont mass murder or something. real nice and shy guys especially if they are not that good looking rarely get lucky especially with younger chicks
