Explicit Insults That Have Been Overused, and Are Now Obsolete

We all have encountered moments where we were bullied and badmouthed at and seen others having the same experiences.

I'm here to explain how certain insults are being used and how they became obsolete. Most bullies probably don't even know what they are saying.

Of course this Take is going to unfold my point of view and that will involve my opinion if anybody even cares >.> :p.

Of course the best way to deal with bullies is to ignore them and not feed them. However backfiring them and giving them to hear what they want is a way to get yourself that, what they wanted: fun by bullying. In short counter-trolling - as in playing along the insults.

But still, while not replying and simply ignoring remains number one way to deal with them, the latter can be used for some extra entertainment to your favor.

Let's start with the most famous and misused insult guys have:

1. You are gay

Gay has 2 meanings: Being a human male with the same-sex (homosexual) sexual orientation. Or being joyful, having a positive spirit.

Being gay for a straight man can be simply taken as the latter meaning.

Fun fact: Gay men are happier than those who bully them for being what they are.

2. Son of a bitch

Explicit Insults That Have Been Overused, and Are Now Obsolete

If that means the target subject's mother has been described a bitch, then how much worse are the parents of the bully, who didn't teach proper manners to call others son of a bitch, even if it's true or not? Ironically, not meant in a way to insult the bully's parents but to imply the quality of raising children.

3. Virgin/Prude

Explicit Insults That Have Been Overused, and Are Now Obsolete

Yes, virgin is sometimes being used as an insult and what that means is the target subject never had sexual intercourse in it's life - which brings me up to 2 ways to take it as a compliment.

If the bully is NOT a virgin ---> The bully is really jealous of the target subject being withholding its first time for someone really special!

If the bully is a virgin ---> Obsolete because the bully calls someone else that, what the bully itself is + is unable to get the idea of virginity the right way, which makes the bully believe the bully (who believes the target subject along with) is left behind.

Needless to say this is not applicable to non-virgins.

4. Slut/Bitch/Whore/Manwhore/Fuckboy

Explicit Insults That Have Been Overused, and Are Now Obsolete

Lost it's meaning rapidly.

I believe - if I am right - females love sex too, maybe generally not as much as guys do but they do.

Nothing wrong with loving and having protected sex like a routine. Scientific studies reveal health benefits caused by sexual intercourse such as healthier heart, increased immune system, dopamine etc...

Being called any of that today would mean "A person, who likes and enjoys sex a lot."

Meanwhile the people, who deserve these titles whilst being in a relationship are simply cheaters. And again, it's not applicable if the target subject has in fact never cheated.

5. Nerd

Explicit Insults That Have Been Overused, and Are Now Obsolete

Because having a nerdy hobby and interest is shamed as such. Makes an outstanding sense calling someone like that a no-lifer when the bully has nothing better to do than shame the target subject as such.

6. Faggot

A faggot is a man, who had sexual intercourse in his ass.

There's nothing more to it than that.

And even if it's applicable, good for him. The bully missed out on such an experience and you can always demonstrate it to the bully ;) mwhahahaha XD

But if it's used on a straight man, it just proves at least how uninformed and unintelligent the bully is.

7. Cocksucker

Same as above. I will not explain what that term means because we all know.

8. Wimp

"A weak and cowardly or unadventurous person."

Ironically the bully is insecure enough in attempt to portrait itself as superior to others by calling out others as inferior. Nobody likes that.

If the bully is male, he would likely attempt to make himself a so called alpha male to validate himself. Now I don't believe in the alpha and beta male concept (but that's just me, mind you!) but it is said, that alpha males are NOT insecure and are NOT trying to get validation from calling others names.

If the bully is female, she would likely attempt to make herself a "bad girl", the opposite of the bad boy out of insecurity to validate herself - pretty much the same way as the male bully would.

  • The amount of times I've been called a slut, bitch, or whore is ridiculous. I'm so desensitized to it all that I've begun to jokingly refer to myself as a bitch, as I figure if I do it, then it loses the meaning and it loses the intended effect people have when calling me one.
    As @helloitsmethere said, isn't high school amazing?

  • Lets be fair. Insults are far more interesting if you can't just rely on a preset set of words. Its far better if you have to come up with something like cockgobbler or shitstain on gods tablecloth.

    • I agree. Insults - in my opinion - need to be original, not some copy-pasta you hear around like the sheeople toss around. And even then it should be applicable to be an insult. Stupid people.

He has to say, "The Honourable Member opposite is in danger of misleading the House." Similarly, he is not allowed to say "Having been in the Bar all day, the half-wit on the bench opposite is so drunk, he cannot stand up." He has to say, "The Member for South Shoreditch appears to be somewhat tired and emotional." So what we really need is some new insults which we can then pass on to our representatives in the House of Commons.

  • Actually every curse word or phrase is overused and ineffective by the time you're in middle school. Kids just say them so much, and even to their friends, so nothing is ever that devastating.

    Even those stupid ones where they add a curse word to a random object, like "ass hat" or "cunt muffin" or "twat waffle". I don't know why people think those are funny or insulting.

    The best way to insult people if you actually want them to feel bad is to make fun of their actual flaws in a horrible way.

  • In UK public schools, like Eton, a faggot, shortened to Fag, is a young new boy who has to act as a slave for an older boy, carrying out menial tasks.
    Those tasks have been known to include sexual services, mainly the boys ass being available to the older boys penis.
    That is where the idea that faggot means someone who has had a cock in his ass comes from, and I am sure it will continue to be so. As long as boys attend an all male residential public school.
    Obviously cocksucker can be a description of another service provided by one boy to another.
    It can also occur in families between siblings who share a bedroom, on that basis, I was my older brothers fag and cocksucker when I was young, I enjoyed it for a few years.
