Let's start with our common Gag experience:
I've been 8 years on Gag, and I'd say 50% of the private messages I get from US women have turned out to be because they wanted to sell me something usually their nude pictures or other forms of pornography.
Another 25% were US Fembots enraged because I denigrated Hilary Clinton or some other religious icon they worship.
Another couple were African American women furious because I mentioned that Michael Jackson was a perverted pederast, as is well known. But that's a minor factor.
Yes, there are the other 25% who were positive or friendly, and listened to answers I had given to their questions. Many if not most of those were minorities, Latinas or Asian Americans.
In school
When younger, US girls are not yet so venal. But even in teenage years many only panted after hit cars, or dated much older guys. Most of us got the message that they preferred hanging out with their gay friends, rather than associate with their other age mates, unless they wanted homework help, heavy things lifted, or protection from someone.
Exceptions were, again, mainly minority girls.
In the working world
Even grimmer are most guys' experience at work. The girls...strongly tended to sleep with the bosses, if available, and if not seeking allies to advance their careers treated their peers in age and status with either indifference or outright hostility.
As a teacher, I don't trust my female colleagues, many of whom will back stab at the first opportunity. Certainly I don't confide any confidential or sensitive information to them, such as Union plans....There aren't generally bosses to sleep with, but many of my colleagues aspire to be the mistresses of corporate executives. Their male colleagues? Well, they don't count, just look at the cars they drive!
My colleagues who went into nursing similarly watch their backs; as a minority in the workforce there isn't any sort of solidarity from female colleagues, except for the considerable number of Asians since we don't train enough nurses in the US.
The US has many subcultures, of course, that don't correspond to these examples generally. But the above are most guys' experiences in the US.
