15 Rock Instrumentals I Like (Part I: 70s Instrumentals)

I consider instrumentals any tracks that they are at least two minutes long. If they are less than two minutes, then they are considered interludes or intros to the next song of the album. Sometimes they might be outros too.

(In alphabetical order)

1) Child's Anthem by Toto From The Album Toto (Self-Titled) (1978)

2) Coast To Coast by Scorpions From The Album Lovedrive (1979)

3) Europa by Santana From The Album Amigos (1976)

4) Foreplay by Boston From The Album Boston (1976) (Note: Although Foreplay is not a separate album track (It’s listed as Foreplay/Long Time in the album. In other words, it’s the intro for the song Long Time). But since it’s more than two minutes long, and also has a name itself, I believe it deserves a spot on this list. The instrumental ends at 2:25.)

5) I Robot by Alan Parsons Project From The Album I Robot (1977)

6) Lipstick Traces by UFO From The Album Phenomenon (1974)

7) Narita by Riot From The Album Narita (1979)

8. Nickel And Dime by Journey From The Album Next (1977)

9) On The Run by Pink Floyd From The Album The Dark Side Of The Moon (1973)

10) Signal Fire by Bow Wow From The Album Signal Fire (1977)

11) Solar Fire by Gamma From The Album Gamma 1 (1979) (Note: The instrumental track ends at 3:10)

12) Starliner by Montrose From The Album Paper Money (1974)

13) The Spider by Kansas From The Album Point Of Know Return (1977)

14) The Unidentified Flying Tuna Trot by REO Speedwagon From The Album You Can Tune A Piano, But You Can’t Tuna Fish (1978)

15) Tramontane by Foreigner From The Album Double Vision (1978)

PS: Excuse me for the wrong category, but I guess it's because of the Foreplay instrumental.
