Usually people like others that have the same hair color as them (you have blonde in pic). "intelligent look" I can only see Janis Danner and Charlie Matthews. Janis has a suit on so it displays his professionalism and charlie looks worried so his furrowed eyebrows look like he is contemplated an issue in his head and putting his hands together to pray he is absolved of his internal worries. But Holden and Michael don't display an intelligence attribute and are just as different as the other models in the list. I don't know I'm just curious about what makes someone a "type" haha :/ Jealous guys is all haters everywhere

Actually, I think in appearance, opposites attract. Like I like tanned guys with dark hair, but I'm pale and blonde myself. Good thing if I go to a country where men have darker skin and hair colour, I'm much more loved by men than in my own country. The guys I've listed also have all half-long hair, so that might be something. Anyways Take Owner, I wonder what your type is in men/women.

Based on my observances, people don't favor indian, Asian, or middle eastern men. For hispanics, the white Spanish almost share the same heritage but most prefer the latter

Tyler Maher looks like Matt Damon. I prefer Matt because he looks very intelligent (not bashing on Tyler - he looks smart but not brilliant). I'm not normally into guys with blue eyes but Matt is an exception.

In my case intelligence trumps looks. Like, obviously they have to be attractive to me but I prefer a more average guy with an amazing mind.

I actually have a lot of experience (graduated from Harvard, thank God, and have generally spent a lot of time around a lot of very smart people) so I'm not just making this up. I'm not advocating for cranial measurements or something if that's what you were thinking. I'm also a little biased because I know something about Matt and I know he's brilliant. But it's very visible in his pictures.

Your initial opinion did seem strange to me at first when I was reading 50+ comments because unlike all the other girls who were screaming about their exploding ovaries you seemed very critical and unfazed by the post, and science does prove that intelligent people really value intelligence in their partner. Who cares if you have trouble finding someone - you went to Harvard. lol. Here's the nutshell: for us, a guy can be attractive beyond physicality, like if they are smart, skilled, have the right personality (dominance), power, money, etc but for girls, a lot of it boils down to physical looks which we can't control. If the girls try to be more than looks like having power, making a higher salary than the man, it becomes a challenge for the man to overcome (the mentality of being the best in the relationship) and so another pretty woman is scouted

yeah I've also been described as beautiful and intimidating - I'm happy about it, thank God, but it's frustrating. I used to think something was wrong or I wasn't attractive (especially since lots of Harvard girls end up with people) but almost everyone has said what I said above - my varsity tennis star popular dude friend there (with a super attractive ballerina girlfriend) told me I "make men feel weak." I doubt I'm a 10/10 looks wise lol but I don't need to be to have it be an issue I guess. Being on here has been less about "haven't found the right guy" than "what's the issue."

the issue is you're smarter than most guys, went to an ivy league so your parents probably expect you to bring home a guy of that caliber, and you're beautiful. by my own numbers like 9/10 guys will not approach a girl who is 8/10 or above for fear of rejection or inadequecy

How do you know they are interested? Once you make the link between how it is communicated and why they don't ask you out then it is easier to see the patterns. I made pasta fish up in my head cause I was hungry and I had a pet fish so I combined them. Well I am ashamed of it as well and no longer condone that behavior - I'm glad you don't either. I asked the question here because I wanted to understand - I have had an awful time trying to figure out why guys and I don't quite work out although they tend to be close to me like that (and they're usually single), and the kiss was wrong and I did it out of desperation (haven't since, thank God) but that doesn't make it less wrong.
