Porn vs Real Sex

Now, I know we're all well aware that porn is fake. Even the ameture stuff isn't much like what happens in the average married couple's bedroom. Porn is a wonderful way to spice up a dry sex life. But there's no denying that one might compare their body or their sexual performance to that which they see in internet porn . It may even be that the easy access to porn sort of screws up young people's idea of sex.

Here are the differences that I have noticed in porn:

Porn vs Real Sex

1 - Real bodies don't look like pornstars.

Not all of us can afford the luxury of penis enlargement, labiaplasties, vaginal rejuvination. Breast, hip and butt implants. The list goes on.

2 - Porn stars ALWAYS cum.

Did you know it's actually qute hard to get a woman to cum just from vaginal penetration? Most of us need some sort of clitoral attention.

3 - Everyone's always in the mood. Again and again and again and...

Guys get tired. Sometimes a guy has trouble getting or maintaining an errection. Girls require a warm up. Foreplay. Sometimes, she really does have a headache.

4 - Porno Guys last AGES!

Seriously, quickies are great. Don't underastimate them.

5 - Bald privates.

Unless a girl has a salon on standby 24/7, she's going to have to deal with prickly regrowth. Some women don't like having a totally hairless coochie either. And men, well, a totally bald crotch is kind of strange looking to me.

6 - Porn stars hardly ever make love.

Thanks to porn , ordinary missionary sex can look kind of boring. Sure, hardcore sex and new positions are great! But it has nothing on the slow, sensual sex that's called making love. It's next level.

7 - Have you HEARD the girls in porn?

Not all of us scream like we're being murdered. Some girls are loud, sure. But if a woman starts screaming the second you enter her, she's faking it.

Do you agree?

  • Yes clearly. p*rn is like modeling, like photoshop, movies, day time tv shows. Just made for entertainment and it would odd to have p*rn where there's no

    -Industry standard
-Lasting longer than normal, a video should be long enough
-Having girls moan louder than normal, The Idea that it feels that good is nice
-Some p*rn videos do make love
    -Lots of p*rn have foreplay
-It would not be good entertainment if they both didn't cum
-Real bodies can look like p*rn stars. And sometimes even better. Just like models are real as well. Again it's all about a standard
-Most girls I know, get brazilians, always shave. And some have even lasered so no hair at all
-Most girls tell me they want no hair

But all this is expected and known. p*rn is good for what it was made for, personal entertainment. Without all the above, the quality would suffer like anything else in life

    • Of course all your points are very valid. But what I'm trying to say by this MyTake is that p*rn isn't like an average couple's sex life. It can be, if a couple uses p*rn to spice up their sex life. I wanted to share some ideas and misconceptions that some people, especially young people do not know about. I cannot tell you how many girlfriends I've had that have started having sex with a new partner, and the first thing they've said is that they knew he watched too much p*rn by his style of sex. Surprisingly, men say this too but don't complain about it haha To be honest, the better it feels for me, the more sensual my moans become, not the louder. But that's just me. I shave. I have tried a braizilian wax once in my life and I will never do it again. I didn't cry when I broke my arm at 10 years old, but I almost cried when I got a brazilian. The pain...

  • I am sure i read somewhere that when you squirt its not urine but a clear liquid which fills up in the bladder.
    Maybe the source wasn't good.
How sure are you? are u dead sure its just pee?

    • It's not pee lol But most women report that the feeling is similar to the need to pee though!!

    • Yea I thought so.. And even for us.. I remember the first time or 2-3 times when the ejaculate began to come.. it felt like i am peeing.. but soon I could differentiate ofcourse lol So I would recommend girls to try and just let it go when they orgasm.. R u able to squirt btw?

  • I used to work in p*rn with marketing / PR / red carpets, and BTS shoots and interviews. Now, let's ask why p*rn looks so good.

The average man is getting about $150.00 to $200.00 per day. The women on the other hand for a pick up shoot can be anywhere between $750.00 to $1000.00 per day. This isn't taking into account Kayden Kross' $10,000 first anal boy / girl shoot.

Now, on the set there's makeup artists, and various lubes lotions and things that can simulate cum / slime as well. With a full crew, the shoot can be from 2/3 hours for one scene to 8/9 hours for a day shoot for half a movie.

But to make a long story short... If most women were getting $750.00 to $1000.00 from their husbands and had 9 hours to really get the job done...

it would be p*rn star sex.

    • Wow, thanks so much for that comment. It's a really good read and very eye opening!

    #7 YESSS!

Thank-you for writing this. A lot of people need to realise this, especially young impressionable boys. There's so much truth in this.

    • Thank you! The real target here was young guys because I really do believe some of them are absolutely clueless when it comes to this.

  • Lol, i'm sorry but if most of these things need to be explained to someone, maybe having sex is the last thing they should be doing.

    • Honestly, I agree! But the truth is not many people know. Some of these things you could only really learn aren't true by being sexually active yourself.

  • I totally agree with you. Sorry if I get side tracked here but this topic reminded me of the situation where Dan Bilzerian threw that one p*rn star Janice Griffith over the roof and she ended up getting hurt. Hilarious!

  • I don't know who you are and where you are but please accept this from me for writing such a wonderful take.

    • Awww, right back at you. :D :D

  • Don't forget some of the other ones like most guys don't actually want to pull out and finish by masturbating onto her face or hair. Yeah, I agree with all of your list. There are ways to make #4 be more in reach of "normal" folks. For #1, do male p*rn stars actually have penis enlargement? I always figured it was just a case of the guys who actually think they can make it are the ones who are unusually large (sort of like pro basketball players are unusually tall).

    • Agreed. My boyfriend has too much respect for me to let me swallow. He's never wanted to finish ON me either. Yes, some do! I admit, some of the colossal and freakish penises you see are real. Just some some female actresses breasts and butts are real. But a lot of p*rn stars do crazy things like inject silicone. They are usually pumped with enough viagra to kill a small horse and I have even read of silicone caps in come cases. Camera angles, shaved crotches and very small women also help a penis look larger.

    • So the reverse of rear view mirrors? "Caution, objects on the camera may appear larger than they are" ;) No kidding, silicone cap to add a few inches? That's just... weird. I may be a bit weird but I find a lot of TV to be like p*rn as well in that it can be unhealthy if people confuse entertainment with reality. For example some of those home makeover shows or other "reality" shows that don't really depict reasonable expectations for regular people. Maybe the difference is while people to have real world experiences in seeing other peoples houses, what kind of lifestyles they lead, etc, we don't usually see others having sex except in the movies which as you point out is not reality.

  • p*rn gets a lot of blame it doesn't deserve.

The issue is p*rn is filling a vacuum.

people were not having better sex before p*rn , instead we had generations of men AND women who didn't know women could orgasm, didn't know what a clitoris was and hit their wedding night not entirely sure what went where.

Does p*rn do a perfect educational job? Absolutely not. It's a biased view for sure. It's less that it's unrealistic as much as that its atypical.

The 'problem' isn't p*rn , it's the lack of information about what sex is actually like.

  • You're not blowing anyone's mind here... unless they're like... 15. What's your point.

    • Believe it or not, I have met 18-25 year old men who do not know some of these things. Young women are a target here, too. It may be simple, yet not to some. For instance, while doing a bit of reading I learn that a lot of p*rn stars undergo vaginal rejuvination which involves more than a labiaplasty. I didn't know that. From my own sexual experiences, I could tell within the first few minutes if a guy's concept on what girls liked in bed was based off of p*rn . This leads to awful sex in the beginning of a relationship until two people learn about each other's bodies.

  • I have to agree that stamina in real life is a very big deal. Also, p*rn is weightless. In real sex, real bodies with real pounds are being thrown around. Depending on where that weight gets applied, it can either enhance the moment or kill it instantly. Real sex was meant for marital intimacy, not mindless recreation. p*rn has convinced many that they can change that; but attempting to usually leads to disappointment. Sex becomes an idol, and few can ever reap its rewards.

    • Like I said, p*rn is a wonderful bedroom enhancer when used right. It's also a good way to help one get off when a real person isn't available. But too often, p*rn becomes a problem whether we realize it or not. I used to be a girl who hated p*rn . I watched it to see why my boyfriend watched it. Before I knew it, I was watching it whenever I had free time and I WAS comparing my boyfriend to stars. I didn't think I would ever do that because I'm more than happy with my guy. I stopped watching from that point on. It even had me lusting after impossible things even though I knew it was all so fake!

  • Another major difference between p*rn and real life is that p*rn stars do this for a living so it becomes routine; and when it becomes routine, the ordinary is not very exciting any more. The same mindset can be seen in p*rn addicts who often cannot achieve orgasms from ordinary sex. Real life sex on the other is about more than just show, or surpassing the ordinary (being as nasty and rough as humanly possible), but rather about to people connecting and attaining sexual pleasure. Even in ordinary one-night stand there's most likely some form of kissing or even foreplay and regular vaginal sex.

  • Yeah p*rn is unrealistic and does ruin relationships. Almost everyone watches p*rn at one point in their life but it gives unrealistic standards and views about real sex. Yeah not everyone looks perfect like in p*rn , money does wonders huh and angels and cameras and makeup and acting ohh the acting. Yeah they don't make love which is the best they just f**k. Its all great but means nothing if you don't care about the person you're having sex with. That's my opinion and how I was told, sex is something special not something meaningless and selfish. Haters gonna hate on my real talk but I agree to disagree with p*rn being real. :) Arrivederci.

    • Agree. I was taught that sex is something you do with someone you love, too. I have only started having kinkier sex with my partner because I've been in a long relationship with him, and I feel comfortable with him.

    • Right!!! :) Good for you. :)

  • What? p*rn is fake

  • p*rn fucks with our brain. It extremely twists our expectation regarding sex which is far away from the reality.

  • really nice take!

  • p*rn is like wrestling. Yeah its fake but its still fun to watch. Maybe they should start putting disclaimers on it before it starts stating that real sex at home with your s/o is not like this and to not try this at home. Although I had one girlfriend who we were totally sexually compatible and yes it was p*rn style sex. And her multiple orgasms and pussy that stayed dialated and had her own cream oozing out of it well after we were done couldnt have been faked.

    • They do its at the begining it says this is for entertainment purposes only all actirs are above the age of 18 etc etc

    • I've always fast fwd to the fucking. Lol.

  • I will be honest depending on how shallow she is depends on whether I have these standards because I have dated pornstars before since all they were after was money and I was fine with it. So if a woman is shallow and wants my money, then it is alright for me to desire a p*rnstar .

  • this was fab (Y)

  • Granted how there's so much variety in p*rn , it's hard to make generalizations like that so easily even if a lot of it rings true (eg. the girl cums every time). And people for the most part would rather make real love themselves than watch other people do so on a computer screen because they're lonely or whatever.

  • Also the pick up lines don't work as well irl.
