Girls, would you be offended, or think it's weird, if you saw a guy at the public pool, or at a swim beach on a lake wearing a jammer swimsuit?

This is a serious question. When I go swimming I actually like to swim laps for a workout. And I wear a jammer swimsuit (link below). Board shorts or trunks have too much drag, and just aren't really made for serious swimming. I wouldn't ever where a "speedo" (even though Speedo makes jammers too). I'm not trying to be exhibitionist by wearing a jammer suit, but at the same time it's true that you can see the outline of the penis, especially when you get out of the water. The jammer suits have a front panel, but you can still the outline of pretty much
everything. So, acceptable or no?

  • Gals have this same "problem" especially in white = see-through
Most lap swimmers (NOT kick board while talking pseudo swimmers nor jogger - on the pool bottoms) are akin to artists, they really are too jaded to look/care - you are just one of their peers, classmates, team - so let's get to swimming. While in the water, it gets even more impossible to see anything.

That said, most swim team encourage one/two "drag suits" during workouts = better swim meet competition results when the low drag suits get employed. Some of the Olympic hopefuls have been known to put rocks in their suit pockets for more drag.

  • I would feel uncomfortable having my thing sticking out in sight like that. Too revealing.

  • I used to go swimming with a guy friend, and he used to wear those things too, even shorter. But not a speedo. And somehow I never saw the outline of his penis. Or never really looked down there. And people back home also wear those short jammers all the time, it's the common thing there. And I couldn't remember seeing any outline of any penises. Only a bulge, that's all.

So no, I wouldn't be offended. If you have a nice body, it would even be sexy.

  • Jammers are not revealing. Skin tight? Yes. Revealing? No.

Speedos are revealing lol. I swam on a competitive team for 8 years, my brother swims now, and my boyfriend swims in college. I'm totally fine with jammers. And speedos for that matter.

  • I wouldn't have a problem with it, however, I've been a swimmer my entire life. As long as you aren't wearing a speedo, you should be good! :)

    • But what's with the speedo... I'm desperately looking for logical answer to this. I mean , we are not trying to show off , it's just what we feel comfortable in... It's same as noticable breasts in a bikini , isn't it?

  • if its on a hot guy, i would LOVE IT!:*

  • Not too revealing. More like too ugly. No offence. Whatever floats your boat, but I'd be grossed out.

  • Wanna know what's revealing? White and yellow trunks! That fabric is like paper!

I'd assume a guy wearing jammer trunks is a sport swimmer.

  • I wouldn't be offended. I would probably think it a bit inappropriate for a public area if it was showing things off, but I would also look if the guy was attractive lol
