I have been in this situation before. It is uncomfortable, maybe even painful, at first. You just need to take it slow and gentle. After about a minute or two of slow and gentle penetration it doesn't hurt anymore and you can speed up. You may or may not be a little tender after, but it isn't anything you can't handle
