Is it OK to sleep nude with a boyfriend who has never seen you naked before?

Without going into details that I feel is not important, here is my situation. I am a virgin and I intend keeping my virginity till marriage. Regardless of that, i'm also very open about my sexuality and i'm not ashamed of my body. I like sleeping nude and can only really sleep while nude. My question is.. is it OK to sleep nude with a boyfriend who has never seen you naked before? (obviously i've told him beforehand about my purity commitments.) Though would you think it's weird? Or it is a bad idea? Why? Thanks.

  • No. That's both weird and a bad idea.
    You would be the ultimate tease (and it's a total contradiction) to sleep naked in a bed with a guy when you plan to keep your virginity until marriage. If sexual tension isn't unbearably high with you lying in bed with your boyfriend stark naked then I'd question your boyfriend's sexuality. Just saying.

    • I understand about comfort, but I would still think that's a bad idea even with a long-term relationship. If you seriously want to avoid sex before marriage then it's important to avoid situations that will put you in a compromising position. Sleeping naked with your boyfriend is high on the list of compromising situations xD

  • Honestly, keeping your virginity until marriage is a mistake. Would you buy a car without test driving it first? I started sleeping nude around the time I lost my virginity at 13. I don't think doing either thing so young wound up damaging me. I sowed my oats when I was young, met a lot of great people, learned a lot, had fun, and now at 35, I have been settled down for the past ten years in a committed but open relationship with the mother of my two kids. Monogamy is as overrated as virginity before marriage. Live a little!

It has become odd to enter marriage without knowing the sexual desires and abilities of their intended spouses. You take a risk to do so. But if you intend to maintain virginity till marriage, you need to not tempt each of you with sexually stimulating situations.
