Well, the term pervert covers such a wide margin, honestly.
Being perverted is fun and sexy, but being called a pervert is usually not as fun, hmm...

I don't use the term pervert when trying to describe someone who's doing/saying things that are super nasty (etc) because I almost use the term as a compliment rather than an insult.
People use it differently, I understand that, but being perverted isn't my idea of a bad quality.
Some people call rapists, molestors, etc perverts, I don't... I just call them rapists, molestors, etc.

  Some people simply use the word differently. Some people think calling your woman a slut, a whore, a slave is a bad thing, I don't. It's all about context and tone. MY take on the word, I don't see as a bad thing. The word literally means, "a person whose sexual behavior is regarded as abnormal or unacceptable." What I find acceptable, others may not. What I think is normal may be abnormal to others. It's all about context, and it's usually pretty easy to ascertain their meaning and true feelings on that person.

As long as this guy is aware of it and can keep it in when necessary, it's actually kinda fun. Like, Quagmire from Family Guy is perverted beyond extreme, but he's real funny on top of that (despite being, you know, a sex offender and stuff).   Well now I know why she had mixed feelings about her boyfriend, and why some girls appear to like perverts and why some don't. I was really confused so I made a poll, but the poll results lean towards no. Which confused me even further because why would she date someone who is so perverted? I guess her boyfriend is the kind of guy who is perverted a lot one day and none the other. Thanks for clearing that up!

Depends how its done. I'd say girls who have a high sex drive like guys who can be enthusiastically sexual in a relaxed and non-threatening way. Having a high sex drive and being wild aren't bad things to those who like them. Being comfortable with what you like and open to other people's likes is a plus. Acting like a barely under control rapist is not so good.

Like most things, there's a time and a place. In general, being perverted is disrespectful and offensive. But I have a lot of guy friends that I'm really close to who get a pass (when it's not directed at me) because I know their sense of humor. Know your audience.

  It depends who directs it at me. My boyfriend or someone I'm dating/have gotten serious enough to sleep with? Sure, then it's playful. Anyone else. No. Never direct it at me. It's offensive because I don't like to be objectified or to generally be cheapened by frivolous and inappropriate comments. And there is a difference between a compliment and someone being perverted.

  I don't, but there's less of a chance than when he says something overtly sexual. No one is ever sure of one's intentions, that's a risk you take when dating. But someone being perverted is a pretty good clue that they don't have good intentions.

He complimented your looks, therefore he wants you for your looks. Whether it's only your looks or not, he still likes how you look.   One of my best friends is a sociopath. She didn't choose to be that way. She has very little way of expressing friendship or gratitude but I know she truly cares. She has proved it numerous times before. Although, on a daily basis, people hate her because they don't understand her. That's why not every nice person has tact. Anyway back on topic, there is never a way to really tell anything. Exiling a guy because he complimented your breasts is only a way to jump to conclusions. Nothing more. Remember that when boys grow up, they think that complimenting a girl's breasts is giving them honor for their feminity. It's only until mid teens when most guys learn that girls are bitter about it, buuut! It doesn't mean that the boys are wrong. See what I mean now? Their intentions were not bad.
