Each person's different. Gays depending on where they live can be bashed and live their lives dealing with society's constant habits of saying nasty things about them. "Go suck a dick" "You fucking faggot" etc. Plus there's many many cases of men complaining about other men.

Having done things in the past with men I can tell you, they can be very, very annoying.
Plus with heterosexual guys they may have really good luck with ladies. We always hear about complaining, but never the other side of things.
It has to do with understanding yourself and knowing what you truly want out of life, most men and
even some women rush head long into marriage without fully recognizing what they really want from the relationship and end up overlooking major flaws with both themselves and their partner. With that said there are some straight marriages that are happy and even a few LGTBQ marriages that are not so happy.
Going through such a big challenge as cing out might give a person some perspective...

Gay guys have gone through a lot in their past like facing discrimination and all. Many of them were closeted but once they came out, they stopped worrying about the little things that straight men worry about since coming out was a big thing for them.
You can say the same thing about lesbian women. They tend to be more happy and down to earth I guess than the straight women who complain about their husband.
I believe gay men are much happier. It got to the point I wish I was gay...
