Do your parents know when you lost your virginity? Would you tell them?

Pretty much as soon as I my brother lost his virginity he told my dad, I on the other hand kept it a secret for a while. My dad was completely oblivious. I have one friend who tells her mother absolutely everything. However I feel some stuff should be kept from parents.

No one knows when I first lost my virginitty. my step dad keept suggesting I was a virgin. I susspect he just assumed because I'm a computer nerd so one time I just said that I did have sex before and I wasn't a virgin. :P but no details of corse.

so the most anyone need's to know from me is if I had sex or not anything after that is between me and anyone I have sex with.

Depends on how open and honest they are with each other. It is always good to communicate. You can learn a lot from your parents to help make you a better person. This includes sex. On the other hand there is a level of privacy that should be respected and one of those, none-of-your business things.

I don't know if my parents really knew or not. Never really cared either. There was one girl I took the virginity of and her mom found out because she did her wash and noticed her underwear. They hated me a lot after that...

for me it's an of course, i tell m parents many things, but it's not that you don't trust them, it's more than in our own little world we habe the need to have some secrets only for ourselves.
