What type hints do you drop? What do you do? What do you say? I wouldn't expect a girl to be very straight forward about it so how do you say it without saying it?

A girl will probably never admit she is dtf and if you don't take the hint she might feel offended or she'll lose interest.
Usually when a girl is trying to hint at it she'll be more touchy-feely with you or "clingy". If you guys are with each other and she's making it obvious for you to look at her ass or tits she might want your attention. If she's bringing up sex or sex stories she's probably trying to hint at it.
You could always just make the first move and if she tells you to stop or that she doesn't want to then, no hard feelings but respect her choices.
Or you could ask her. She might like a guy who is straight forward but not pushy. And if she's too embarrassed to answer then that might say a lot about her.
