I never pay attention, honestly, so I never notice. Unless it's my boyfriend, then I'm well aware of it because it's more than likely my fault that he's awkwardly adjusting his shorts as we walk around.

It depends on how big his dick is. Sometimes it's really huge and noticeable ( especially when they have a big dick and are free balling), sometimes I don't notice

  Well, the average soft size is 3.5 inches, that's why I asked. And most of the time I wear boxers, so I don't know if that contributes.

  No, I'm asking if 5 to 5.5 inches long without a boner is going to be a noticeable bulge? Cause I'm about to start a group marching band camp where we all wear athletic shorts most of the day for a few weeks, I have noticed a bulge myself before because of the flaccid size but I have wondered if it is noticeable to others as well.

  I think it's fine. Not too much bulge just kinda fitting the shorts, is good. As long as it's not totally pulling in the shorts it's good. Bu a bump bludgeon is fine

  I don't know, isn't 5.5" like the average size of a guys erect penis? I'd have to say that even if it wasn't hard at that size it would be noticeable. Especially if any of those marching band activities involve jumping or running.

It depends on the pants he's wearing. Loose jeans? Can't tell very much. Tight jeans can see it a little bit. Basketball shorts are absolutely noticeable.
