Is fisting dangerous?

Ok, so this is embarassing just to even ask but...
Fisting. Is it safe? I know its a common thing in society, but when I think about it, I can't help but wonder... I'm curious about it but no idea if I should take it into consideration. Thank you.

Done gently, it's not dangerous. Done roughly, and it almost certainly could be.

Also keep in mind that fisting (unless done by a tiny girl with tiny girl hands) is going to stretch your vagina beyond the point where it can stretch without damage, meaning, the muscles and tissue will experience trauma, similar to (but probably not as extreme as) childbirth. What I'm trying to say is that fisting has the potential to make you PERMANENTLY "looser" than you are, just as childbirth does.

Again, "how much" is relative to how often you do it, how big the object is that you insert, and how you are built in the first place. While the muscles there are elastic, there is also a limit, and beyond that limit, things tear and take damage, and may never be 100% again.

Just something to think about.

1. I have fisted some women alright - especially my gf in college
2. If one knows how to do it then it's safe enough
3. It's never 100% safe for sure for various reasons
4. Hygiene of the hand is a VERY important factor
5. Clean, cut, filed nails etc is very critical
6. The man also must know to understand by feel what he can do and what he cannot
7. If you get fisted too frequently, it's advisable to learn Kegel exercises so that the muscles are exercised regularly too :-)
8. On the whole it can be quite a pleasurable experience when done right

I"m pretty adventurous when it comes to sex. I'll do anything a girl wanted me too except be with a guy.. I would fist a girl if she wanted it BUT what girl wants that and where is the pleasure for a guy. I cant' figure that one out. Most girls I've been with just about tolerate 2 fingers , but a whole fist. Just don't see it as "common". For some reason, there are some guys who seem to love the idea of sticking the biggest things they can along with various household objects and vegetables into a vagina with the thought that the girl loves it. After years of experience, I would say it's a guys  p*rn  fantasy and 99% of woman wouldn't like it.
