But the point I was trying to make is they are not used in units of measure here in the U. S. or in Europe. Here in the U. S. we use inches and feet and in Europe they use the metric system. Just go down to your local Home Depot, Menards or Lowes which ever big box "home improvement center" you have and look in the hand tool department at their tape measures, you'll not find one using decimals. And yes, it blows guys minds when I talk tools and build a piece of furniture often better than they can ;-)
