Tips for Vag Shaving (partially)!! Please?

Hey, This is quite difficult and embarrassing to explain but I wanted to shave majority of my pubic hair but i don't want to shave the whole lot. I'm quite new to this and frankly I'm too shy to ask someone face to face. The problem is I hate having a lot of hair down there, they gross me out! Therefore i wanted to shave the bikini line, everything on the sides of the 'lips' and leave a very little on top (because i think i might feel a bit bare. weird? I know). I did a bit of research and the majority was all about shaving the whole thing off. Are there any tips about how i could shave without actually have to shave the whole thing and preventing irritation after 3 or 4 days? The irritation level I always got after shaving 3 to 4 days was crazy; especially when I was in public - wearing jeans or just panties, I just wanted to twist my legs or dry humping something to relief the itchiness. Any tips and advice would be appreciated ;)

  • Well you want to start with trimming it first. Either with clean scissors or an electric shaver until its about 5 millimeters.
Then you want to get in the shower and take a normal shower, for at least 10 mins so the hair follicles loosen up.
DO NOT USE DISPOSABLE RAZORS! I made that mistake once and it was a horrible experience and I ended up cutting myself with it. Use a razor with 3 blades or more and soap/shaving gel for sensitive skin.
Then when you want to begin, apply the soap or shaving gel, making it foamy.
Wet your razor and go in the direction of the hair growth.
Take about 1-2 strokes and rinse the razor.

If the wet razor makes the soap/gel wash off, apply it again.
Keep rinsing between small, short strokes.
You do not need to use a lot of pressure.
Pull the skin above your 'area', to get closer to the roots.
You can go in the opposite direction, but that will itch even more.
Once you're done, rinse everything well, pat dry yourself.
A moisturizer is a must. A body lotion is okay, but I use olive oil as it makes my skin smoother and less irritated.

The irritation will go away after a few weeks of shaving. Don't worry and don't scratch it. I started shaving when I was 16 and it itched like hell, but after about a month my skin got used to the shaving, and no more itching.
I have never cut myself either.
Don't rush things, as it takes me about 10 minutes for this whole process. I shave once a week, some shave everyday. But I think there's no point in doing so. Every few days is fine.

    Good luck!

    • I don't really care for the completely bare thing, just seems like she is a little girl! I'm old enough to have seen women in Playboy with real hair, and that was NORMAL. My girlfriend said that she shaves her legs, and underarms, and she isn't doing any more, but, she LOVES how I play with her soft pink parts, and she likes when I shave hers, just around the really nice parts!! I kind of keep myself well-groomed, so she figured she was safe, the first time. That, and a couple of glasses of an AMAZING Merlot!! There are so many wonderful, soft, 'girlie' creams and stuff, so why would you ever use soap in such an intimate place? Skintimate Bikini zone cream, and a Venus Razor (not the disposable), then the Skintimate Aloe After Shave cream! Part of the fun is playfully tugging, and caressing, shaving, then rubbing on the After-Shaving Cream!! After doing it a few weeks, you don't feel the irritation (her or I)! Now we both kind of take care of things, before dates, and nights together!

  • Shaving is an artform.
Here are some tips from a guy who has shaved for many years now:

    1) Use a quality razor. Doesn't matter if it is a male or female product - they're the same.
    2) Use a shaving foam/gel of the hyper-allergic kind. No perfume.
    3) Soak the skin you're shaving for a few minutes. Let the hairs moisten. Shower or bath.
    4) Apply foam/gel, wait for a minute or two.
    5) Stretch the skin when you're shaving.
    6) Shave with even strokes without using much force.
    7) Flush off all remains of soap with clean water. Several times.
    8) Leave it to dry without rubbing.
If you have to apply some cream, use perfume free, hyper-allergic salve.

I say again: STAY AWAY FROM PERFUMED PRODUCTS.
Use fresh clean water to rinse off all remains of soap, gel and scent.

PS: You do not have any hair in your vagina. That is the inside part.
