I do as a personal preference, but I also work in a bathing suit since i'm a lifeguard so it's kind of a safety precaution. Especially when I'm teaching a lifeguard class my bathing suit bottoms get knocked off more than once. I also prefer it when my boyfriend goes down on me, I don't feel as self conscious, even though he says he doesn't care at all. Most of my friends actually do completely shave down there whether they are sexually active or not, so in my experience most younger woman do, although, I overheard my mom, aunts, and some of their friends discussing it (excuse me while I go puke), and most of them said they did not.

We all have pubic hair and there's plenty of it on girls. The p*rn stars just wax it all off because it looks better that way on camera. As for me, I just trim it a bit and keep it neat. Can't be bothered with all that shaving/waxing bare shit plus I think it looks weird.
No, it doesn't have anything to do with the amount they would grow necessarily. It's just the popular style these days. Most chicks in p*rn get it waxed off I'd think. Your average girl might be more likely to shave because of the cost. My girlfriend gets waxed and it's like $90 each time, lasts like 3 or 4 weeks. But she just finished esthetics school, so she and her friends from school just wax each other. Seems kind of awkward to do with friends, but whatever saves you a few bucks I guess, haha.
I think girls just trim it so it doesn't hang out of bikini bottoms but for the most part they are hairy. I just like it when it is trimmed back enough that it doesn't end up in my nose and eyes down there.
PS. all those women wearing pants on a hot sunny day on a regular basis have hairy legs.

Some girls just trim and shave the sides. Others keep it jungle bushy. It depends on each girl.

They wax, and in my opinion it looks way better shaved im not a fan of body hair on a women kinda a turn off for me but if they have it and i care about her its not gonna make much of a difference.
It's a personal preference thing and you should make the decision for yourself. Don't let p*rn or anyone else decide for you. Unless of course you honestly don't have a preference and then I would talk to my partner to see what they like :)
