I can think of way other things that boost your confidence other then a strange placement of piercings. tattoos tasteful tattoos. people will ask you about them there for giving a reason to make conversation with you, having the potential to help you with your social skills/shyness change of hair color, thats still flattering, extensions, a wardrobe change...
I have an inner wrist tattoo, a tattoo on the front and back of my shoulder. I've had pink hair, extensions, you name it. I'm also a cosmetologist. My social skills have waaaayyyy since improved since getting the piercings, I got them about a year ago. Being the beauty industry forced me to come out of my shell dramatically.
