I am so tired of this question being asked, but I am finally going to answer it.

You can definitely feel her hymen stopping you, and there is some pressure/pain pushing through it that first time, yes. Of course, every hymen is different, and some girls may tear theirs before having sex the first time, plus, I would imagine that some guys are so inexperienced and/or in such a hurry that they don't really notice, because they have no frame of reference.
