There is no point in being male these days when women have it very easy in the west?

Be blonde, tight or curvy body, hot face, nice ass and life is good. Men kiss you ass just for looking hot. Bosses want the hot chick on the team. If somebody hits you the cops are on your side. As a matter of fact people will help random women more. You are judged by your body but this is good because you are your body. Feminism, girls rights is all the media cares about. vs being male You have to prove you value and worth everyday. Nobody cares if you the male are raped or killed. takes years just to get a good muscular body. Short guys are treated like crap. Nobody cares about male issues. Endlessly compete with other men can make you want to commit suicide. Society judges you by how expendable you the work horse male is. Man up, shut up and die you work horse!

Funny thing is I pretended to be a female on another site and reversed what I wrote and as a fake female most of the users comforted me. My point got proven just how easy women have it. In my female account if I stated that men suck I won't be directly attacked. People want to know the reasons why I say that. In this male account I have females and males attacking me not giving a damn why I wrote this. Society truly doesn't care about men and you guys failed a simple test.

  • There is no point in being male these days if... your self-esteem depends on other people. But, why should it depend on other people? As I think I've said to you before, you have to stop living for other people. Live for yourself.

    Some of what you raise is legitimate. But, these are all problems that only the men themselves can fix. There are very few people who will hold you in esteem if you don't hold yourself in esteem. That's especially true if you're male. As for the police example, the biggest factor in the problem of bringing justice to situations of violence against men is the unwillingness of male victims to report violence to the police. The police in most cases of crime cannot do anything if the victims aren't even willing to report. If someone were to hit me, I would report it to the police.

    • I don't really like the term 'equalist'. A movement can have it's own side like gay rights or animal rights without having to argue for every issue. Women have it worse off in society than men so it's no wonder we have more feminist groups. How does it not take years for a woman to get a hot body?   • Of course society cares about men... it's really hard for women to keep good bodies too especially with all the crap foods these days... if any of the guys I knew were killed or raped I'd be heartbroken... tall women feel awkward and pressured to find guys that like them... and not all short guys get carp for being short and lots of people care about male issues... like the whole male population for example... you need to stop wallowing in self pity and grow up and move on... things could be a lot worse

  • Everything you said is true, but it's offset by the fact that men are generally more capable than women, so in the end, even though there is a strong bias in women's favor, men come out OK because we can make up the difference trough sheer effort and capability. The bar is higher for men, but we rise to the challenge and still come out on top.

  • Most of what you say is true, assuming we're talking about under 30, and a woman who is mentally stable.

    Problems with your theory:
    - to some extent women just have to be cute and young and pretty. To some extent, all people want from women is that they be cute and young and pretty. Cute and young and pretty women have it easy. Older, less attractive women may find it -harder- to get respect, attention and interest then men would. It's not impossible by any means, but there's a trade off here.
    - They get fucked. If you're happy to get fucked, you don't need to be a woman. Gay men like nice young early 20's bottoms. Live the life.

  • Women have always been privileged like that. In some cultures if a man was beaten by his wife he would be the one punished. Men didn't even have decent safety regulations at work until women entered the work force.

    Things have changed, but mostly in men's favor. Feminism put the idea of equality in our heads and now men are starting to demand equality for a change. Things are getting better for men, not worse.
