Women: Do you prefer a male or female yoga instructor?

I know this is a strange question... but for the past 5 months, I have been taking yoga classes at various gyms around my area. It's funny... when I walk into a female yoga instructors class, it is very calm, not quite as big of a turnout and the women are usually older and I see 1 or 2 other guys in the class besides myself. When I take a male yoga instructors class, there are a lot more women in the class, quite a few more men (but 95% women) and they usually younger (early to late 20s). I just started at a new gym, and the male yoga instructor is at least in his late 50s. There are a lot of hot and young women in my class as well. The yoga instructor seems to know all of their names already. If they come in late, he tells them exactly where to sit and they listen. He also goes around the room touching/adjusting the poses of the women and they seem to slightly enjoy it. He doesn't really talk to the other guys at all. When I am in a female instructors class, it is just neutral and calm. When I am in a male instructors class, I feel like women see the instructor as an alpha male, enjoy being told what to do and don't mind being touched at all. Is this the case?

I am very competitive and having a guy, especially hot guy, teach a class makes me push myself really hard. Its about being the best in the class and getting his attention. I will always want to be in the front row next to the most fit people in the class so that I can mirror them. And usually we push each other like that. And if I'm working hard and sweating and he makes some adjustment... so nice!

If I am stressed out and just really need to relax, I prefer a woman instructor because I find their classes more peaceful, calm, and quiet. But if not, a hot guy is always nice to look at.

Right now I have two yoga instructors for the same gym (different schedules). The female instructor's class is just as your described... peaceful, calm and quiet... but mostly older people show up, and the yoga instructor does the yoga with us. For the male instructor's class, he's 58 we get a lot of hot women in the class and it is more high energy and the women are usually in high spirits. The yoga instructor in this class doesn't do yoga with us while he is instructing. He just tells us a pose and walks around the room the entire time... watching us and adjusting the poses of the women XD.

Male yoga instructors all the way. My instructor is mid 30s. I am really hot whenever he touches my belly or back to adjust my pose.
