Is it possible to have a platonic crush on a teacher? Is it? I really like my physics teacher. He IS hot. But I just like to be with him or impress him (I usually go to him instead of other teachers when I have doubts in physics) He likes me, I am a good student according to him. He is really young and cute. So many girls have a crush on him, and I do too. But its not like a normal crush! Its like, I really like him. I don't think of him in a sexual way. And when he's teaching in the class I just see him as teacher. Do you think I have a platonic crush on him? Maybe because he's kinda short in height while I am taller than average girl. I do accept the fact that he IS really hot. And his voice is sooooo!!! 1d I'm 17 by the way. And he's just 27! So he is kinda young. And when I look at him, I see him more as a "cute" person than a "hot" one! I don't know why!! He's really sweet and smart! I don't fantasize about him much, but when i see him, i feels kinda weird in my stomach

it sounds to me like you have more than a platonic crush. it sounds like you have a standard crush

yes it is possible to have a platonic crush, but it would mean that you are 100% attracted to who they are. I have male friends that I guess you could say I have a crush on. they are awesome dudes, we get along, we have the best times hanging out, we've been through the fire together, etc

Well recently i just broke up with my first boyfriend. I've had crushes before. But never on a teacher. And that too, its a different kind of crush. I don't think about him sexually. But i really like him and wanna be with him!

No! Not like that! Its like "I wish we could hang out with each other more often". When you see someone, and you're like "Man, they'll be cool to hang out with". Its kinda like that, but stronger. Coz i know him well

But you find him hot, you're attracted to him. I understand what you're saying about meeting someone you just want to be friends with, someone who you just think is really cool but when you couple that with an attraction then it turns into something which isn't platonic. Be totally honest with yourself: if you were hanging out and he leaned in for a kiss would you say no? I don't mean to sound condescending either but a girl of your age, having a crush on your teacher: its a combination of a normal crush and an adult attraction of the mind. Its totally normal but will explain why you're a bit confused about what you're actually feeling and how to deal with it.
