There's the study. Basically, squirting is just involuntary peeing.
So I am genuinely very curious if this changes any guys perspective on it. Squirting has become fetishized and seen as like the epitome of "sexiness" of female orgasms.

  • Interesting question. Thank you for posting. Study used only 7 women which made it useless. And I know nothing of the organization (s) conducting it. Several other studies have been conducted which found the opposite. But for the moment, let us assume the studies are correct. Does it change things for me? No!

    Whether it is urine or not, there is a big buildup of pressure to release it as orgasm nears. If the woman fights to retain it, she often gets less of an orgasm, sometimes no orgasm. When she feels free to release it, it adds to her pleasure. So who gives a shit whether it is urine or not? My goals during sex are the greatest sex for both of us, and if for her that means releasing urine, I say do it!

    Whatever it is, you should use something to protect the bed. One problem solved. You will likely get much of it on you. Urine is not toxic, It contains very little that would be harmful. Would not bother me at all. Another problem taken care of. As for the next problem... Oh wait, I can't think of any other reasons, so we are good to go. Are you a squirter? Then squirt as much as you want and enjoy it. I will get pleasure from your pleasure.

    I am not into golden showers, But I am not scared of them. As I said, they are not toxic, though I would not allow urine to squirt in my mouth, nor will I pee in someone's mouth. If, however, she gets off by being peed on or by peeing on me, I would do it for her.

  • Last time I checked pee was slightly yellow not mucusy and slightly white. Sure most girls can't squirt or they don't know how to but that doesn't mean the real thing is just pee. Also I empty my bladder before I masturbate so it can't be pee because all the pee is already gone and afterwards I do pee and it looks like normal pee not some type of strange liquid.
    Also when I need to pee my clit starts to hurt, when I'm about to squirt I feel it on the bottom of my vagina, which is far away from my clit, so that doesn't make any sense.

    • The mucous and slightly white stuff you refer to is female ejaculate. That's totally different from squirt. And that, is not pee. Squirt is clear. It isn't really thick like female ejaculate. It says that it is mostly urine but it has some other secretions as well. I'm not sure if I agree with the study either as they are not same the color or smell. I'd like to see more studies and articles to prove one way or the other.

  • The study says the bladder fills up with "pee" and has traces of urea (which is a given considering where it's from). Technically it is not urine because it contains prostate specific antigen (PSA), which makes it distinct from urine. Previous studies have also found this compound in the fluid too. I think this is just a case of sensationalist journalism. The study also only has a sample size of 7 women, this should render it invalid from the start.

    I ejaculate, and it is definitely not urine. Totally different smell, appearance and taste. Regardless, it feels amazing when I do it, so I'm not too bothered if it's pee or not :)

  • The study says that it is mostly--not entirely--urine. When other chemicals/substances/etc are added to something, it changes the initial chemical/substance/etc into something completely different from what it was before. Even if the fluid is mostly urine, it isn't just pee since it isn't 100% urine.

  • I don't agree with it. They say there are different substances than actual pee, even though it's mostly urine. If the compounds in two different things are not exactly the same with same ratios, then they are different.
    I did have my doubts when I was younger, then I started taking a med that made it way more yellow when I pee. But when I squirted it was still clear.

  • I don't think I agree with it. Just like every other study today, there is a study that says something is one thing or one way and there will be one the next week that says the opposite.

    I have seen studies, that are much older and tech has come a long way since then, that say it isn't urine.

It is likely secreted by the Bartholin's Glands (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartholin's_gland) That's quite a bit different to the much more copious clear liquid that is associated with "squirting".

  • Squirting is from the paraurethral gland aka the G-Spot. Squirting comes from the same whole girls pee out of. The paraurethral gland is only so big (like a prostate), so if a girl is releasing so much fluid that the gland can't possibly hold that much fluid, then it is likely she is peeing. The fluid from the gland does not look or smell like pee.
